Perfect location to shopping, sight seeing and train station. The concierge is a gem, helping a tourist find her way. The room was clean and comfy, a bit pricey but worth it. loved the spacious rooms. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The architecture in the lobby was very nice. My only issue was with the cleanliness of the breakfast area floor - there was so much dirt, food crumbs and even a used dental stick on the carpet. It was quite grim. "Convenient if you need to use train"
We had an appointment in US Embassy in Paris (Which is very close to Louvre) and Concorde Opera was in the walking distance, it is just next to Saint-Lazare Station too, so its location is perfect. The building and its lobby are wonderful and our room was spacious and comfortable. The price of the breakfast was steep, but we needed to leave early anyway […] so it didn't bother us. Il est dommage que pour un hôtel de ce standing les chambres ne sont pas faites à temps. La couleur est annoncée à notre arrivée à 14h. Il nous a été demandé de patienter jusqu'à 15h car la chambre n'était pas encore prête. Nous avons du nous contenter d'une chambre en de ça de ce qui était prévu. Les articles de toilettes sont dérisoires et au 2ème […] jour nous avons du les réclamer à la réception car les femmes de ménage n'ont pas jugé utile de nous fournir en savon, shampooing et gel douche. "Concorde Opera Paris, positive supriced"
Arrived Tuesday evening to the hotel, the lobby of the hotel is very nice and clean and the personnel was very fast and professional. I went to my room which was also nice and clean and I was lucky enough to have a very good view, so everything was set for a good experience with a new hotel in Paris, which is not always the easiest to find. In general […] I try to avoid 4 stars hotels, when I am in major cities, since the quality of 4 stars hotels are very different from hotel to hotel. This time however I got lucky. I will try to explain the different categories in the above rating of the hotel; 1) Quality of the service/personnel Check-in took about 5 minutes, more people was checking in at the same time, but the hotel was good at making sure to assist as many as possible as fast as possible. This is for me a very important thing, since it can be very frustrating to wait in line while the people in the reception talks on the phone or even worse have a small argument in a language you don’t understand. Here however everything was perfect, so decided to give the hotel 5 in this category. 2) Condition of the hotel rooms The hotel is very old, but have been renovated a number of times, so the rooms are still nice, the minibar got filled every day and the prices was not cheap, but acceptable for a hotel like this. Some of the furniture’s have had better days and would need to be changed or renovated within the next couple of years. But all in all nice and in a condition that match a good 4 star hotel. So I decided to give the hotel 4 in this category. 3) Cleaning of the room Room was cleaned every day, also the days where I didn’t leave the room until 12, so positive. However the cleaning personnel walked in to my room 3 times one morning to clean while I was still sleeping. I can understand the first time and maybe also the second time.
