The Pullman is a good hotel for businessmen, close to one of the main railroad stations, several Metro lines and bus services. There are plenty of excellent high cost and low cost restaurants in the neighborhood. The qulity of service was good and the room bigger than in mopst older Paris hotels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"I would stay in another district"
This is right by the metro station. The hotel itself is in nice condition and the staff is friendly. I however would try to stay near one or more of the attractions as this is more of a business district. You can get to the metro easily and get to many different lines but I would have preferred to be by the Eiffel Tower or the Champs Elysees. Also the […] bar in the hotel is very expensive, after the first night we opted to buy wine at the little market next store and bring it down to the lobby and hang out there for a fraction on the cost. "Great modern hotel"
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel during our visit to Paris. My previous experience in Paris has been to stay at small boutique style hotels that although closer to the tourist attractions, include no amenities with rooms the size of a match box, most of which do not allow more than 2 to stay in one room. Our room at the Pullman was spacious, included […] 2 queen size beds and a great modern and clean bathroom. I travelled with my aunt and 2 kids and never felt closed in (my kids even had a runway fashion show for us in the evening:)). The staff was very friendly and had no problem with the fact that we did not speak French (which is more than I can say for the taxi drivers!). A supermarket near by was great to shop for breakfast items, as we chose not to participate in the $45 EU per person breakfast buffet. Location: not walking distance to the center of tourist attractions unless you are healthy and used to walking long distances (~45 minutes to the Tour Eiffel, don't believe the stories that say 15 minutes) but there is a main city metro/train station with 2-3 minutes (right around the corner) which will take to all within a few minutes. You may see a few drunks at the stations late at night but we had no problem walking back to our hotel after 10 pm. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Not too good, not too bad"
The location is good, but the price is too high for what you really get. There are much more hotels around where you can find the same comfort for less. Can't say anything special, but next time will definitely choose another place to stay.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Decent size room for the price!"
The hotel room was very nice. We had three people and were able to get two queen beds which is unusual for Paris. Hotel is not as close to the Metro as I was led to believe by other reviews but we didn't mind walking. Hotel room was clean and very quiet which we enjoyed. We had one great concerige and one not so good one. The one recommended a great […] reasonable restaurant nearby. The other one told us we had to order a cab to go to the the airport but failed to mention that we had to be downstairs early for the cab. We were running late and only found out after we arrived downstairs that the meter on the cab was running. The concierge was no help and also quite rude. We even talked to the manager about this situation. Probably not stay there again because of this situation. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good hotel Average location"
Good and comfortable hotel. Sub par service as compared to Pullman hotels in other parts of the world. Definately sub par as compared to 4 star hotels in nay part of the world. Maybe just a Paris thing. Was travelling with 2 small children aged 5 and 1.5. At the door when we arrived asked for some help with the luggage, was given a funny look and the […] luggage was lugged up to the room as if it were a favour. Checked in at about 2 and called house keeping to have some laundry collected. Was told very curtly that we had missed the cut off for the day and to give the laundry the next day. The front office staff was courteous and helpful with all queries and directions that we needed. The location is just average for seeing the sights around Paris. Taxis always easily available out side the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We stayed only one evening (and thank goodness just the one evening). "Not a good experience"
We rely on Expedia reviews when traveling and felt that this was one that needed to be downgraded. This is really a large conference hotel and not a great Paris vacation hotel. On to occasions we had to call the management to have our room made up. Housekeeping would forget, pillow cases, toilet tissue, wash cloths, the basics. There was no printer […] paper at the airline check in station near the lobby. They tried to charge us $100 Euro for WiFi when the booking was with free WiFi. They said I clicked the wrong box. Thankfully after a big argument at checkout they reversed the charge. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very pricey - deteriorating guest services"
My stay was very disappointing – I have been staying at what used to be Le Meridien (now Pullman) for the past few years and I must say what disappointment this hotel has become – not only the prices have doubled but if you count on any decent guest services – forget it . Also now you will have to pay for the breakfast buffet- it was included at the […] times of Le Meridien. This time when I arrived they gave me a room, although renovated, it smelt of mold – they changed it for another one, also renovated, but I could not get the shower to work properly so I called the guest services many times and requested that someone come and take a look. I waited until 1:00 am but no body showed up – I then had to take a shower using the hot water pot, like in the middle ages- it was surreal considering the room price . The next day I called again, twice, finally they showed up. As if this was not enough, at the time of check out I find out that I was billed for someone else’s laundry. I complained so they removed it although the lady told me that she could not trace the mistake. So here we go, stay at your own risk . I really miss the Meridien times Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"You can find nicer for less $"
With the exception of the manager (who was quite good about addressing our needs) the hotel staff did the minimum necessary. Our biggest complaints were with the hotel cleaning staff and the cost of food. 22 euros for croissant and coffee. Obviously we didn't eat there. There are plenty of wonderful breakfast establishments a few blocks away. Le sommelier […] and Le Cafe de Montparnasse were our 2 favorites. We stayed for 4 nights. The first night our coffee in room was not replenished. The second night nobody came to clean the room at all. The third night the maid burst into our room at 7:45 am while we were asleep with the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door and she didn't knock. The hotel was stuffy and you can't open the windows. "Attention to detail?"
Couple small issues that should be addressed by staff: lavatory fixture loose requiring minimal attention. Housekeeping should have notified maintenance as it is an issue that should have been addressed months ago. No indication of messages unless you specifically looked for them on television. "good hotel for European standard"
Good hotel in a good location. The hotel is right next to a small indoor mall and convenience store. The metro station is right next door. We walked 10 minutes to the Mont parnasse tower to catch the open top bus tour. Taxi ride to Eiffel tower is about 15 mins and 10 to 12 euros. The breakfast buffet was overpriced, it's more like the continental breakfast […] we get for free in the U.S., not worth it. Room service was good but overpriced, at least serving size was large, so two people could share a meal. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I never use the facilities so can't rate those. Incredibly inefficient and long time to check in. Concierge very friendly and helpful. Good location but frustrating. I first stayed at this hotel when it was a Sheraton back in 197 and also stayed when a Le Meridien after that and don't recall such slow check in/check out back then.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Excellent Hotel & Location"
Truly an excellent, modern and well staffed hotel. Location is as good as it gets. Montparnasse train/RER/Metro station is one block away and smaller Metro station (Gaite') 1/2 block. You can walk to the Gaite' station most of the way indoors through the Gaite mall which has an entrance 200 feet from the hotel door. Groceries can be purchased at the […] market store one block away. If you take the Air France transportation bus from either CDG or Orly airports (approx. $20 one way or $34 round trip) it literally drops you off across the street from the hotel. Sure is a lot easier and cheaper than a taxi. The rooms are standard American modern with the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The rooms are quite, the staff efficient and courteous and room housekeeping very efficient and accommodating. Lots of people in and out all day long with tour and cruise groups coming and going. We personally loved all the activity and you can easily be invisible if that's what you prefer . Loved the hotel, loved the location and we would definitely recommend it and stay there again. "Great value for a hotel in Paris"
We spent 6 days in this hotel and were very pleased with our choice. Great location, the Airport bus leaves you practically in the door of the hotel since its located next to Gare Montparnasse. A couple of subway stations nearby and very close to the St Germain de Pres area but not in the middle of the dense tourist area. Its very large but the elevator […] service is fast and efficient. The breakfast buffet has an extensive range of choices, among them fresh fruits, multiple types of bread and pastries. The rooms are quite large for Paris and extremely comfortable, with a 42" LCD TV and free wi fi. Its a great choice for an expensive city like Paris, would highly recomend it. "Renovation Goes On and ON"
We arrived early from overnight flight. Receptionist was not helpful. She told us to come back in four hours. When we asked if our room would be a newly renovated one, she said we could upgrade to a better room. Finally, desperate, we asked for a manager. The manager made a room on the 20th floor available to us on the spot. It was not refurbished, […] but it had a fantastic view, was super clean and comfortable. We forgave the torn wall covering in the bathroom and the rusty makeup mirror. We settled in graatefully and had no more contact with the staff. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to all forms of transport"
Hotel lobby is undergoing much needed renovations. Renovated guest rooms and baths are much larger than I had anticipated, very nice, excellent beds, and very sound proof rooms. Breakfast in the Justine restaurant is much better than being seated in the overflow room. Lunch at the Justine lunch buffet was excellent, but beware of very expensive beverages […] in this restaurant. Lines for Concierge were long, and I was not pleased with some of the mis-information I was provided by the concierge regarding local tours. Received incorrect information twice, which greatly inconvenienced us as our stay in Paris was not long enough to make up the time we lost due to the Concierge error. "Excellent Parisian Hotel"
I travel extensively and I highly recommend the Pullman Paris Montparnasse. The hotel itself is very well located right across the street from the Montparnasse train station and from the Air France airport suttle bus. Montparnasse iteself is a good, central location with lots of restaurants and a highly animated ambience. You can walk from here to St. […] Germain du Pres, (if you like to walk) and other areas. The lobby is a bit drab, however the rooms are bright, very spacious, well appointed, very clean, and the bathroom is luxurious by French standards. The beds were very comfortable with nice duvets, extras cushiony pillows, and we happend to have a regal view of Paris from the 10th floor. When you look at the prices of hotels in Paris, this one is well priced for what they offer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was simply great! This is not exactly a criticism since it seems like a going trend in Europe ( we have seen elevated tubs in many European countries) but I suggest not to make bathroom tubs so high. It is a bit scary to go in and out of the tub for shower or to use the tub for bath. The tub there is almost 24-36 inches high. My husband I […] kept reminding each other to be very careful! "A great way to end a busy day of sightseeing."
Visited Easter week 2013. After a couple computer glitches with the check-in and a room key, the entire week's stay was first-rate. Terrific housekeeping staff, very easy access to additional towels, tissues, etc. It looks like Pullman is moving right along with its "top-down" renovation of all the hotel rooms, as we stayed on the 15th floor and everything […] was updated and modern. Really comfortable beds, memory foam pillows, lots of closet and shelf space, safe, fridge, big HDTV, all contained in larger American-style rooms. The very costly breakfast at the hotel isn't necessary, as there's several restaurants and patisseries within a two block radius as well as all the quick-stop eateries (including a Starbucks) at Gare Montparnasse, which is right across the street. While the area is not one of the main historic districts of Paris, the hotel is really convenient to 3 Metro lines, several buses (including airport transfer buses), as well as the RER and SNCF train lines running from the station. We would definitely stay there again, as it really looks like the Pullman chain is committed to making this hotel a first-class place to stay for business and leisure travelers. This was our first trip to Paris and I bought my hotel as a package from Expedia.
