The toilets were extremely foul smelling, which resulted in a strong aroma of septic pervading the room. Despite our placement of the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the hotel cleaning staff completely disregarded it, and entered the room, failing to adequately clean it each time.In fact,they do not clean the rooms at all. Crampt , small room with no toiletries. Kids running the hallways at night yelling and banging on doors.The luggage cart was so dirty that my hand stuck to it.Desk personel were terrific , but other employees were abrupt and nasty. Building needs ALOT of mantainence . Hard to bvelieve that this is a Disney affiliate property.

Travelling with a family of 6 wasn't easy but staying at Thomas Cook Explorer Hotel made it easy for us. Conviniently located to Disneyland, very good room for large family, reasonably priced, frequent shuttle bus service to and from Disneyland, very impresive indoor swimming pool and activities. Hard to find a fault at this hotel. We loved it.

The hotel is fun for kids and right next to Disneyland Paris, but the beds were horrible. They have thin mattresses that squeaked every time you moved. The pool is fun and has 2 great water slides, and there is also a kid play area that is fun. We ate at the buffet and it was good - the desserts were particularly good.

We arrived for a 3 day weekend with our older children. We intended to go to Disney on one day and spend the other two in Paris. The room was big enough for all 4 of us, the beds were comfortable, and the room was cleaned everyday. The staff was helpful and friendly. Transportation to Paris was simple and inexpensive. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was small but comfortable. The mattress was well decent not the softest I have had but not horrible. I had called the hotel and Hotels.com prior to arrival coz I knew half the european hotels had no air condition and was assured that they did. My room only had a ceiling fan and it was really hot. I spoke to the front desk and they promised to move my room to one of the four air conditioned rooms. My new room had air condition boxes that did not work […] and it was very uncomfortable. I ordered a movie which was supposed to be about 7 euros and they charged me 50 euros coz they said we had picked unlimited movie option which we did not for 25 eauros and they charged it twice coz we had a suite and two tvs even though we used only only one. that's about $100 for a lousy movie. The icing on the cake wa the internet service which though my husband paid for it on the spot cash, they insited we did not. After several minutes argueing, they took the internet charges off and stuck with one 25 euros for a movie. Not a good experience and I would not recoomend it. The pool was okay and the kids enjoyed that and the evening buffet is good too and a good value for the money. Read more

Our family really enjoyed staying here. Our boys (5 yr old & 10yr old) loved the play area and especially the fantastic pool. They boys had a hard time leaving and hope to return soon. We live in California so it's a bit far to travel back any time soon. But we hope to return to Paris someday & staying at the hotel will definately be part of the plan. […] I highly recommend it to families with young kids. Great location, great hotel and very efficient staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip, the shuttle service to Disneyland is regular and reliable. Only gripe.... A two euro charge per towel for swimming....meaning the pool is not 'free to use' and a crazy French rule regarding swim wear resulting in my husband not being able to join us in the pool....what […] could happen if he wore shorts instead of trunks which would be so bad?? Seeing as other guests were taking photographs on poolside and not being asked to stop, the trunks thing seemed very insignificant.... My partner and myself and our 5 year old daughter stayed here for 3 nights in September 2012. I have to say it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are really efficient and helpful, and the hotel itself is like a children's dream, with a swimming pool, arcade and play area and not forgetting the Disney shop. The rooms were lovely, […] lots of room and a separate toilet and bathroom. The staff came in every day and made the beds and gave us fresh towels, it was great to come back after a long day and get into a fresh bed! The hotel is situated in a lovely spot and has lovely views, there's a lake at the rear of the hotel. The shuttle bus service is excellent and comes approximately every 20mins, it takes you to the entrance of the Disneyland parks and the train station which takes you into Paris All in all we had a great time and there is plenty to keep the kids occupied at the hotel when you want to relax. This hotel is ideally located for Disneyland,only 10 minutes via the free shuttle bus which runs all day and about every 15 minutes. The staff were friendly,polite and knowledgeable. There is a good sized pool with lifeguard,play ship and games room with seating area for keeping an eye on the little ones. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels,beds made etc. In general the hotel is clean and well kept,there were a few stained areas of the carpet around the pool corridor but it proves that the pool is clean and treated. The hotel is situated in a cul de sac with 3 others so no noise from passing traffic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Disneyland,or Paris as there is a mainline train station at the park that will take you to the city centre in around 20 minutes. Read more

The location is good for visiting Eurodisney, with free buses quite frequently. Cleanliness of restaurant not very good, with sticky floors. Bathroom have some mold around the bathtube, but bedlinen was clean and beds were quite comfortable. It's an average hotel with good location for visit Mickey and friends

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. I've certainly stayed in worse (unfortunately!!). There was plenty for the kids to do in the 3 days that we were there, and although the pool is quite small, it was good fun. This is an excellent hotel, my 4 year old daughter absolutely loved the pool. The play area is beside the food court so you can watch the kids while eating or having a drink. Our room was excellent, we booked a twin but were given a triple on the same level as reception. I did read some negative reviews before I booked this hotel, based on our stay, […] I can state this is absolutely the best hotel for the kids, and if they are happy the rest is easy. Please don't concern yourself with the negative comments, the hotel is super. We went to Disney, by 2pm on the second day my daughter was asking to go back to the hotel to play!!! Explorers hotel at Disney Paris was an excellent choice for the kids. The FREE shuttle service every 20 minutes takes you about as near to the gate as possible, and it happens to be at the local train station , which for the adults is great for the day trips into Paris central (about 45minute trip). The room was clean and in good order and the kids […] had their own mini room with their beds and own TV. The beds were ok but the pillow were small and square and more like cushions than pillows. The room was serviced by housekeeping everyday but one of the days it wasn't till after 5pm, which surprised me, but didn't matter very much as we were heading out again immediately. The breakfast was a good continental buffet with cereals breads croissants etc couldn't fault that. the evening restaurant we didn't try but looked ok. The swimming pool was the highlight of the kids holiday as its great fun with the Pirate ship in the middle of it and 3 slides, (not really for serious swimmers at all). There is a nice lakeside walk behind the hotel which is quite relaxing, and the hotel is quiet from the outside as it is flanked by huge agricultural fields (pretty sure it was maize growing when we were there). The staff were all helpful and all seemed to speak multiple languages i overheard one speak English, German and Spanish as well as French.Overall we as a family really liked this hotel. It isn't designed to be plush or fancy, it is however family oriented and a happy friendly hotel. Read more

Found getting to hotel from train station a breeze- buses very easy to use. Hotel nice but to eat there in evening I found it to be over- priced for what is on offer- though it's a bit cheaper than Euro-Disney to eat in.Breakfast could be better needs abit more choice, though for a supplement of 4 euros you can have a full cooked breakfast.

On first arriving were greeted by very polite and charming check in receptionist. She asked if we were English and was happy to explain everything included in our welcome pack. Although it was only after 1pm we did not expect to be able to check in till later, but she gave us all docs and cards to enter room.
