We stayed 3 nights in the hotel and generally we were satisfied with it. The reception people were very friendly and helpfull, they gave good advices about dining, travel, train, etc., especially Norbert, he was really great and surprisingly speaking Hungarian, he was very helpfull. The room was a bit small, but acceptable and clean (and we didn't spend […] too much time in it). The breakfast service was a bit poor, if it was a bit more busy, then you had to wait allways to get knives or glasses, etc. The location of the hotel is also good, very easy access from the airport with bus 99 and it is 100 meter from railway station as well. The downside of the close station is the homeless people around, when the evening was coming (after the first experience, we avoided it by using alternative roads. All together, it was OK. Read more

It is amazing that for the price we paid, we not only got a good room in a good location, we also got a welcome drink, breakfast each morning and a lunch to go with chicken salad sandwich, water, chips and sliced apple. This hotel was older but across from the train station for those travelers. The desk clerk was polite and helpful andthough our room was compact it had all the necessities. There was an elevator--built for two--so we didn't have to carry our bags upstairs. The bathroom had been updated but there was a little mold on the tile. The breakfast offered a […] variety of choices meant to meet everyone's needs and they gave us a sack lunch for the next day. There was parking available across the street for 8 euros and the clerk gave us great directions to the Nice airport. I like staying in older hotels to get the feel of days past and other than the mold the room was clean, we got our wake-up call on-time, breakfast was sufficient and we arrived at the airport in record time. The location near the train station is excellent and was quite easy to reach from the airport via train (saving the very expensive taxi fee). Simply the best value you'll find, ever! Staff were wonderful, very welcoming and whilst the rooms are compact and the area is typical "transit" territory being near the station the hotel was faultless - good breakfast AND a worthwhile lunch pack with sandwich, fruit, drink and crisp. Excellent.

This hotel was made all the better due to the staff of the hotel. Helpful at all times. My only real criticism was the size of the room that was not obvious from the photos which I have no doubt made it more difficult to hoover. Other than that, book direct with the hotel, it will be cheaper.

The hotel is on the good side of functional. Whilst the location is ideal for transportation, it is a 20 minute walk from the key attractions. The area is a little shabby/undesirable, but keeping to the busy main road at night was no extra bother. The service from staff was good, with most being multi-lingual for those with little French. The amenities were fine, with the room covering all the necessities i.e. comfortable bed, shower, air-con etc though I was unable to activate the heating. I arrived early & forgot the check-in time, but was allowed to leave my case with reception until 2pm. I did still have to wait a little while to check-in, and towels were provided for me later. Breakfast was simple continental, which was fine, though those expecting a little more for 3 stars & above would be disappointed. The basic lunchbox (sandwich, fruit, drink, crisps) was inconsistent and not provided on the bank holiday. I received a complimentary drink at a time of my choosing, and used the free wifi. Checking out was a little awkward but no bother, and I left my case until later in the evening at no extra charge. Overall I was satisfied with my stay, the hotel served its purpose acceptably, though those seeking a more immediate/extravagant experience of Nice might prefer to stay closer to the centre. Really good value for money. Rooms a little on the small side but with good facilities. Very close to main train station and trams which you can catch to the Old Town (about 20 min walk). Seafront a 10 min walk. Very helpful desk staff especially Norbert. Breakfast more than adequate.

good clean hotel, best western is a dependable chain. opposite Nice railway station, and in Nice you buy a 4 euro travel card and it does for 24hrs for all trams buses etc , including airport bus, . free packed lunch everyday and a free soft drink on arrival.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the seafront only 10 minutes' walk away. Staff were extremely pleasant, the hotel was very clean, and breakfast was fine. Der Aufenthalt in Nice war sehr schön und sicher war die Lage und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis des Hotels sehr gut. Auch das Wetter hat viel zum guten Gelingen geholfen. Das Frühstück war gut, ich persönlich vermisste etwas Früchte und Haferflocken, Hafernüsse und dergleichen.
