Approximately 800 metres away is the old Turia riverbed, now a landscaped park and popular for strolling, jogging or cycling. Guests can also walk through it to the City of Arts and Sciences.
Malvarrosa Beach, the city's 10-kilometre stretch of sand, and the Port, are five kilometres away and best reached by taxi (€6-10) or tram; the stop is a five-minute walk from the hotel.
First Division football team FC Valencia presently plays at La Mestalla, 3.5 kilometres away (€3-4 by taxi) on the Avenida de Aragon.

Nice hotel, but a bit far from everything. You definetely need to take a bus or use a metro if you want to get to the sea, to the city of arts and sience or center. The rooms were well decorated. The bed was firm and we slept well on it. The buffet breakfast offered a good selection. The Eurostars Gran Valencia is a great hotel to stay at to explore Valencia. 40 minutes from the airport by metro with one change. 15 minute by metro to the city centre. 10 minute walk to the tram for the beach about 35 minutes away. Horrible: el personal del hotel, cero profesional, la seguridad.... Nos abrieron la puerta, entro un desconocido y nos encendió la luz. Y estábamos dentro durmiendo; en el mejor de los casos; si no contestamos, se nos mete dentro, aún no sabemos para qué, porque en un hotel saben cuándo una habitación está libre,en ningún hotel me han abierto a ver […] si estoy o no . La supuestamente limpiadora ( porque nadie se identificó y ni siquiera contrastaron con el vídeo de seguridad) irrumpió sin llamar y al quejarnos en recepción dijeron ' lo sentimos' con la boca pequeña... Y nada más. Les dio igual y el susto que nos llevamos.... No tuvo precio. Pudieron entrar a robar o no sé a quéy no le dieron importancia. Si buscas intimidad, seguridad y descanso, no es el sitio. Parece mentira que siendo de cuatro estrellas el personal sea tan maleducado y el sitio, tan inseguro. L'hotel è tenuto molto bene, è in ottima posizione con una bella vista della città perchè Eurostar gran Valencia è situato ai piani alti e quindi non si sentono rumori di traffico o altro. Et businesshotell som har veldig lave priser i helgene. Hotellet deler bygg med to andre hotel, Ibis og Novotel. Dette er klart det beste og var faktisk også mye billigere da vi var der. Rommene er fra 15. til 23. etasje med vid utsikt over Valencia. Det eneste som trekker ned er dyr frokost, men det finnes dagligvarebutikk og kafeer veldig nært.
