I stayed at the Astoria a few times in the past as I find it a very pleasant and well placed hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. I had asked for a room reservation which I had in the past. Because of a mix up at reception, the room was not available, which was very ennoying. Reception did everything to rectify the situation and after 2 weeks an even better […] Apt. was found and the remaining 4 weeks were fantastic. Really friendly, helpful staff, who sorted out problem with the hot water straightaway. Difficult to find but is at the back of hotel Bambi. We stayed for 5 nights to enjoy the carnival. Really close to the town centre but far enough not to be noisy. Supermarket and bakery nearby both good. We had the room overlooking the pool but no children were staying and also a bit cold so issues there. The pool was clean and air warmed, so a bit […] chilly but managed to have a dip each day. Terrace by pool taken up by german women some topless eventhough over 60. It scared alpha male enough to stay indoors until the sun went in just about. Turn right out of hotel down the steps towards the sea and left to Rancho for a true continental breakfast.
