Front desk clerk tried to charge us for the room even though it was prepaid. She was quite snippy about it; finally decided to believe me after confering with the manager. The next day, my key wouldn't open the room door at 4:30PM. When I told her about this she said, "Aren't you leaving today?" She then recoded the key. Buen hotel para estar en el puerto de la cruz en zona relajada y tranquila, dos piscinas. Los desayunos correctos, hay de todo pero no comida de primerísima calidad. Tiene Parking para clientes. Hotel Sol Puerto de la Cruz har mistet en stjerne, det er lidt nedslidt, og det har ikke alle de faciliteter som er beskrevet på hotel siden. Restaurantens kvalitet er heller ikke til fire stjerner. En general la estancia ha sido muy grata. El hotel es muy tranquilo y agradable. El personal del hotel es muy amable y las instalaciones exteriores estan muy bien acondicionadas (en especial las dos piscinas). Por lo demàs, se nota que el hotel tiene sus años pero en general està bien conservado. El único aspecto que no ha funcionado ha sido la wifi […] en las habitaciones. Al parecer sólo funciona si la habitación está cerca del ascensor. En la web del hotel aseguran que tienen cobertura wifi en todas las habitaciones pero no es así.
