"Pros and Cons"
Pros: An excellent location close to beach in town centre. Public car parking nearby. Cons: Room and facilities were not as described on Hotels.com site where I booked - Manager showed me a completely different website with about a quarter of the facilities listed on Hotels.com. I have improved the service rating I would have given, because after a […] half hour 'robust discussion' in Spanish, the Manager did eventually give me a kettle (which should have been provided according to Hotels.com). The major problem was that the door handle/lock to our room fell apart, almost locking in my husband - the Concierge had gone home by then so I was forced to dismantle and rebuild the mechanism. On informing the man on the desk at check-out, it became clear he already knew the lock was faulty. There was mould on some grouting around the bath - which was still sandy from the last occupant - and there was only enough hot water for a 1" deep bath!
