In northern Madrid, Chamartín train station is the second-largest after Atocha. This is mainly a business district although the residential area south of it contains plush low-rise apartment blocks and houses. At the circular Plaza de Castilla, next to the bus station, loom the two iconic black leaning towers called the Puerta de Europa.

The front desk and spa service were great. The restaurant staff was rude and the food was inedible. The exterior of the hotel and the room was quite impressive However we had consistent issues with the temperature of the room (too hot) and with the shower (while stylish, it consistently leaked a large amount of water flooding the bathroom. "Mucho por mejorar"
Hotel situado en una espectacular y nueva torre de madrid, el hotel es como el extrior "todo fachada" le falta muchísima gestión. El sistema informático cayó 2 veces en 3 días. El wi-fi no funcionaba con el sistema caido. El hotel tiene spacio relax de pago y gimnasio gratuito si vas a ver el gimnasio te miran los del spa con cara rara. El lobby del […] hotel nada animado,no presta ninguna actuación tipo piano bar, canción, mágia. La habitación: - Sin presión de agua en ducha, se pasó parte sin arreglo, parece política de ahorro del hotel (¿5estrellas?). - Tv pequeña, y malísima, un mundo entre encender y ver canal, pocos canales y sin ordenar, en madrid ni siquiera tienen telemadrid. -Cafetera en habitación, si la utilizas al siguiente día no reponen el café. -Habitaciones mal aisladas se escucha sonido del ascensor y del pasillo. -No hilo musical ni radio. -Cama muy cómoda. -Ventana mal aislada por lo que entra bastante frío, faltan cortinas para aislar. -Aviso de parking de pago una vez retiras el coche. "Gutes 5* Hotel im Norden"
Das Hotel liegt außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, ist aber dennoch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut angebunden (pza. de Castilla, ca. 400m Fußweg). An der Rezeption spricht man gutes English, darüber hinaus ist es wie in ganz Madrid: Ohne Spanischkenntnisse extrem schwierig, selbst bei jungen Leuten, die eigentlich englisch können sollten. Das Hotel […] ist designorientiert und modern. Das Badezimmer/Toilette war nicht so sauber, wie man es in einem 5* Hotel (in Deutschland) erwarten könnte.
