We very much enjoyed staying at Adler. The staff was very kind and professional. The location of the hotel was great - away from the very tourist areas,... but still easily accessible to those areas by subway. We used the subway all the time and it was super convenient. The hotel staff made good recommendations for restaurants - we especially enjoyed eating at El Paraguas ($$) near the hotel and Juana La Loca ($) in the La Latina area. by a Hotels.com guest on 11/15/11

It seems not too many people know about Hotel Adler in Madrid, even taxi drivers have to double check the address as they have not heard of the hotel. But this plays to your advantage as this is a wonderfully quiet and peaceful hotel with excellent service, friendly staff and all the trimmings for a luxurious stay. Exceptionally comfortable stay. Welcoming and friendly staff made good suggestions for local restaurants and tapas bars. Loved the bathroom. Ate in hotel one night and the food was excellent, although the restaurant was surprisingly empty.We would have liked breakfast, but at €27 pp we settled for coffee and churros at a nearby cafe.
