The hotel was very convenient to the Prado, the Atocha train station, and public transportation. It was a nice clean hotel, but not totally up to date... on renovations yet a great deal for the price. Breakfast was included which was very good, but the receptionist did not advise us of this the first day and we unfortunately, paid dearly to have a poor breakfast at a local tourist trap. The A/C did not function well and the room was rather warm. I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 25, 2012

We stayed at three hotels during our journey through Spain and this was definitely our least favorite. The rooms were drab and the bathrooms (we had two rooms) smelled like urine. The front desk staff were not welcoming in the least. However, the breakfast was ok. Would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel had it all. The LOCATION of the hotel made it easy to come back to the room for the afternoon siesta. Tapas bar, bread shop, metro stop, bus stop, botanical gardens, Prado museum, Retiro park all very close. You can take the airport bus into town and be dropped off a few blocks away. The ROOM was surprisingly large. Simple modern look. No […] carpet, so you do hear some neighbor noise, not enough to keep you up at night. Nice size bathroom, closet space and window. More than enough room for 2 people. A/C worked nicely. The room faced into other buildings which I found nice. There was no street noise and plenty of sunlight. Comfortable room, well designed. Great price/value relationship. Cannot beat the location if you want to visit the museums in Madrid. People were very helpful. Breakfast options are right around the corner if you don't want the 15 Euro hotel buffet. Close enough to the main railroad station: we dropped off the Hertz car there.

Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Zentrum. Es ist zwar praktisch, aber am Abend könnte es machmal auch lärmig sein. Trotzdem ist das Hotel sehr empfehlenswert.

L'Hotel Lope De La Vega si trova quasi di fronte al museo del Prado, in un quartiere sicuro e ordinato. L'hotel si affaccia su una strada ortogonale ad una via di grande scorrimento e questo contribuisce a ridurre il rumore prodotto dal traffico cittadino. La nostra camera era spaziosa (per due adulti e un bambino) e luminosa. La pulizia della camera […] è stata piuttosto efficiente durante tutto il soggiorno (cinque pernottamenti). Le colazioni si pagano a parte, ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono. Il personale si è dimostrato cortese e disponibile. La posizione dell'hotel è ideale per chi volesse visitare a piedi il centro di Madrid e la zona dei musei. La fermata della metropolitana più vicina è a circa 8 minuti a piedi dall'hotel.
