"Great place (esp for old folks)"
Nice hotel, good location on the beachfront, within 10-15 min walking distance to town centre and train stations. Most people who stay there seem to be on tour groups, particularly English senior citizens. Noise levels reasonably low, so that is good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location"
Pleasantly surprised. Staff friendly and helpful. Location right on sea front and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and centre. We asked for a twin room with a sea view and got just that (a side sea view) and being on the 9th floor the views were amazing. We caught the afternoon sun on the balcony too. Only criticism with the room […] was the AC as it wasn't working. They sent someone to look at it, got it working but only just and it was noisy. Only booked B and B but plenty of choice buffet style. Happy hour (BOGOF) every night between 7.30 -11.30 which we took advantage of before going out to eat. We had a late return flight and asked if we could have late check out. This would have cost 30 euros to stay in our room. Alternatively they offered us a room just to shower/change free of charge for 30 mins or so which was all we needed and thought this was pretty good service. It was predominantly elderly people that stayed here but it didn't put myself or my 19 year old daughter off as we just wanted somewhere clean with a good location and lout-free! I understand it's about to undergo a major refurb so some of the outdated/tired looking areas will benefit greatly from this. "A Trip to Happy Memories."
We stayed in the Angela 5years ago and are pleased to say it is still as lovely as it was then. The food was superb and the staff very attentive, bed was a little hard but that was our only criticism. Hotellin uusitut yleiset tilat olivat tyylikkäitä ja toimivia. Hotellihuoneissa oli uusittu vain suihkualtaat ammeiden tilalle sekä sängyt. Muut kalusteet ja pintamateriaalit vaidettaneen ensi talvena kun hotelli taas suljetaan marraskuun alussa. "Tolles Hotel fuer Paare"
Personal war sehr hilfsbereit + freundlich die Lage des Hotels optimal Das Fruehstuecksbuffet war mir etwas zu " Britisch", da hier sehr viele Gruppen aus England¨o. Irland waren. (aelteres Publikum) war fuer den preis jedoch o.k. Pluspunkt: nach dem Check-out wurde mir noch ein "Zimmer der kortesia " angeboten. d.h. wir konnten noch den ganzen Tag […] nach Check-out am Strand verbringen und uns Nachmittags noch in einem freien Zimmer fuer die Rueckreise duschen.
