"There are nicer towns...."
I needed to stay in Fuengirola for business. There is very little of character left-it is all fairly modern ugly high-rise apartments and hotels. Everything is geared to UK package tourism. If you want sun, although it rained for four of the five days we were there, without feeling you've left the UK, that's what you can have. the hotel was fine, modern, […] on the front with sea views, but we found the bed hard and uncomfortable. We asked them to put a topper on, which they did. Pillows were equally bad. All-in breakfasts were OK with a wide range of choice. One woman we overhead was going out to buy a bar of soap-the one they give you is about half the size of a credit card.
