Hotel Palacio de Villapanes was amazing! The staff were friendly, accommodating and thoughtful. Not only is the hotel itself absolutely stunning, but... the rooms and atmosphere were cozy, contemporary, unique and tasteful with a palace feel all at the same time. The staff were as pleasant as the rooms and accommodations. When we asked for local recommendations they did not give us big touristy spots. Their directions, recommendations and attitudes were lovely. Every time we came or left there was a smile on their face and as helpful as they could be. Every night around 9pm they deliver cookies and to see if you need anything. Every time we left the room we came home to a clean and fresh bed and trash cans. They also helped us check in a night early and leave our car outside for the hour we needed to get settled in our room. Switched our luggage to our new room the next day with no problem. By far my favorite hotel I've stayed at in Europe and I've stayed at a few. It is about a 10 minute walk outside of the city center, but it is not hard to get to and from as long as you have a good map. The streets of Sevilla can be confusing, but it's worth the 10 minutes.
