Botavara - Buffet restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining area. Serves international cuisine with regular themed section and show cooking. Glass panelled front creates a light and airy ambience. Wicker furniture and starched linen add a colonial touch. Open for breakfast and dinner. A breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast area from 7:30 AM-10:30 AM.
La Caleta - Showcase à la carte restaurant with limited seating, located next to beach bar and facing man-made sandy area. Cuisine centres on creative Canarian dishes but also features weekly barbecues. Open evenings only, seasonal.
El Risco - Snack bar. Open seasonally.
Pool bar - Next to the hotel's main pool on a shade patio, serving à la carte menu items, daily chef suggestions, and a selection of Spanish tapas. Open seasonally for breakfast and lunch.
Recreation
The hotel has a full-service Spa and Wellness Centre with a hydrotherapy pool, jetted tub, sauna, and steam room. Body and facial treatments are also available in several treatment rooms. Treatments are available for a surcharge. A supervised children's playground is also on site.
Deep sea fishing trips, boat excursions, and other watersports are available at Puerto Calero, 500 metres along the promenade in front of the hotel.

The hotel and staff were both excellent. The room was a good size and was cleaned daily. The service from all staff was excellent. We were half board and would pay for full board next time. The Hesperia is a great hotel. From the well presented rooms, great setting and friendly and efficient staff - all contributed to a wonderful holiday. "Perfect location for a reacting break"
It's now the third time I have visited the Hesperia and every time we love our stay there. If you are looking for a wild time then don't choose this hotel but if you want a beautiful location and relaxing time, then this is for you. The hotel is not 5 star and needs to improve to facilities to warrant a 5 star listing. My main criticism would be […] the food offerings and the bar facilities. Apart from the breakfast the food was average. The drago pool bar served what has to be the worst food on the Island and at 10€ a sandwich not cheap either! The hotel needs to look at it's restaurants and improve quickly, we stayed for 9 nights and only eat at the hotel twice (evening time) The hotel should invest in a good bar, on most nights the only option was to sit in the Piano Bar which is housed in the vast reception area, no atmosphere whatsoever ! Why a hotel with such a beautiful setting doesn't have a bar to sit in and watch the sunsets, the bar closes at 5.30 and doesn't reopen until 9. The chill out bar on the beach is another example, when does a chill our bar play "right said Fred" and 90's disco music? The management just seem to leave the bar staff bring their own music choice in! Overall a great hotel which could be a fabulous place if they got a few things sorted.
