This hotel is perfect for either a couple or a family, even friends traveling together. We had a two bedroom flat with complete kitchen for much less... than we've paid for a standard room in many cities. The central shopping area is about a 15 minute walk, along with the Placa De Catalunya, La Rambla and the Gothic area. The neighborhood feels safe, the hotel is secure. My only complaint is that the bed was very firm, but I concede that is personal taste. I would definitely stay here again should I be lucky enough to return to Barcelona. by a Hotels.com guest on 12/10/11
