This hotel is very old, old furniture, like a chair in the room, that shakes and you cannot use it for sitting. Room looks very old, walls required some repair. Bathtub is slippery, cannot take shower without water going to the floor, not just dripping, a lot of water on the floor, that I use all towels to dry the floor. Size of the room is good. TV […] 19" is very old with a very bad reception, you cannot find like this TV in any stores, maybe was made before 2000.. WI-FI is not working in the room, only in reception area. Lock box is $4.50 EUR per night, very expensive, should be free. Location is good, next to Diagonal Ave, where is a good shopping area, very close to Hop-on, Hop-off bus. Air-condition in the room was good. Breakfast was good, but expensive, $16 EUR per person. Better go outside to bar or restaurant for chipper price. Staff is very nice and helpful. Will not stay in this hotel next time. Will not recommend to my friends. Read more

The rooms are very spacious considering it's a European hotel - more like an American hotel. However, the furniture and condition of the ceiling, bathroom, etc. do show their age. The hotel could use a sprucing up. However, we had ample room for 3 people in our suite. The internet (wifi) worked fairly well as well. My friends and I had to find a hotel last minute, because the apartment we rented turned out to be disgusting once we arrived. We ended up finding this hotel and had the best experience. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Our room was big, clean and perfect for what we needed. The location of the hotel might not be as close to certain attractions […] as you'd like, but we loved it. You can walk or take short cab rides anywhere you wanted to do and there's a bus that went straight to the beach right outside the door. The prices are sooo reasonble and well worth it. The hotel room was clean and spacious. My two daughters slept on the separate twin size sofa bed in the living room. There is a separate bathroom (without shower) in the living room area. The master bedroom has it's own bathroom (shower only). Each room has it's own TV. It was quiet. The reception speaks good English and very courteous! The Hotel was located in a very good part of the city. We found it easy to go to all areas via foot or cab. The hotel itself was clean but slightly dated, nonetheless, we did find it very comfortable. We enjoyed the neighborhood around teh hotel area.

This hotel needs new mattresses. The first night we got a bed that was hard as a board, they said that their mattresses were orthopedic, I thought they were extremely uncomfortable. Not the easiest hotel to get to from the Metro stations, but lots of local buses and very good restaurants in the surrounding area. On arriving reception desk was unattended and has no bell, but member of staff materialized quite quickly! Reception area is clean and very much Barcelona modern. Our room was a spacious suite with full facilities, a separate […] lounge area and verandas on two sides which make the space light and airy but a little noisy. Room has air conditioning which makes it too cold at night if you leave it running. Our biggest gripe is with the bathroom, this is very tired looking and some fixtures were loose, towel rail on front of basin fell off if you touched it, i.e. every time you used the basin! Only had a bath no separate shower, shower screen leaked as seal did not touch bath which meant floor got very wet, bath had no slip mat and was not easy to step out of once wet. In the UK this would pose a health and safety issue! Only had breakfast at hotel once as charge of €15 a head a bit steep for what provided. Could do better at local cafes, or buy your own at many low priced supermarkets. Would recommend this hotel on size of rooms alone, but could do with a bit of improvement to bring it back to 4* standard. Read more

a real 1970's classic but the rooms are good and the location quiet. Functional if rather soul less. Great little cafe 'under' the hotel which seems to be totally independent. Bit of a walk to the interesting parts of town but close to tourist bus routes stop.

Got what i expected seeing as i read many reviews... This hotel is well located in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The hotel is rated 4star but should be less. The room was very large; good for us, travelling with a 16 yr old daughter who needs her own space. The room was comfortable although a bit faded in terms of decor. Upholstery and bedcovers are clean […] but faded and stained. Carpet needs a good cleaning. Bathroom was clean and roomy but also in need of a few repairs. Since we had a lot on our agenda, we really spent very little time in the room. The beds were comfortable and we were exhausted after sightseeing so sleep came easily. Just be sure what you ask for. I asked for a room with a kitchenette and was told upon arrival that those rooms are for extended stays only. No worry, we made do with the mini-bar fridge. All in all, the stay was positive although i would try another hotel if we were ever to return to Barcelona. Read more

The hotel was fine, one word of caution it is a good walk from the city centre, although its quite reasonable in respect of cab fares, it cost about 8 Euros from La Rambles. Nice clean hotel, great staff very helpful, did not eat or drink there lots of nice places round and about.

Positiv: durften als Familie das Zimmer bereits 2 Stunden früher beziehen, Negativ: Bett kaputt (sehr wackelig und instabil) und wurde auch während unseres Aufenthalts nicht repariert, TV ging nicht, wurde repariert, Anruf beim Hotelservice wurde nicht entgegen genommen, zusätzliche Decken mussten extra bestellt werden, Kopfkissen stark verschmutzt, […] ebenso Bettlaken. Hotelpersonal freundlich. Kein Stöpsel in der Badewanne, fehlende Toilettenbürste, Toilette wurde beim Zimmerservice nicht gereinigt, stark verschimmelte Fliesenfugen (Beweisfotos vorhanden). Jeg havnet på dette hotellet fordi de kunne oppbevare sykler der - ingen av de andre hotellene jeg sjekket kunne det. Beliggenheten virket litt "off" og et stykke unna de vanligste attraksjonene, men med sykkel var det utrolig greit likevel. I tillegg var strøket rundt hotellet fullt av spennende spise- og drikkesteder. For øvrig er Barcelona veldig […] godt tilrettelagt for syklister - enten man har med sykkel selv eller leier der. Vi fikk et stort rom, oppholdsrom pluss eget stort soverom. Det var beskrevet som 4 sengers rom. Skyvedørene til garderobeskapene hang og slang og var vanskelige å åpne. Rengjøringen besto av støvsuging, tøking av vasker og toaletter. En tannkrem flekk på speilet fjernet jeg enkelt med håndkle etter 3 dager. Vi ankom til hotellet før vi kunne tjekke ind, men blev mødt af meget sød receptionist, der tog vores bagage i forvaring og anviste hotelparkering. Derefter fik vi udleveret diverse kort og information om Barcelona og var så klar til en dejlig dag i Bacelona. Da vi kom tilbage, fik vi et dejligt stort, lyst og pænt familieværelse. Der er ikke morgenmad […] på hotellet, men der ligger en virkelig dejlig stor café på den anden side af gaden med meget lækkert på kortet og rimelige priser. Hotellet er fint placeret i mere rolige omgivelser ....man kan gå til ramblaen, men det tager ca. 20 minutter. Alt i alt et par dejlige dage på et prisvenligt hotel, vi gerne vil tilbage til. Nous avons passé une semaine dans cet hôtel. Le point fort, une chambre très spacieuse avec véranda, 2 TV et une bonne distribution. Le point faible, l'entretien général des locaux. La climatisation était défectueuse à notre arrivée, l'insonorisation est moyenne et surtout, nous avons la certitude que l'aspirateur n'a pas été passé une seule fois durant […] notre séjour. Toutes les chambres sont des suites très confortables pour un prix raisonnable. A noter : pas de Wifi dans l'hôtel. Le lavabo de la salle de bain était bouché, il a fallut demander 2 fois pour qu'il soit débouché et l'un des lits avait deux pieds cassés. La douche inondait la salle de bain à chaque utilisation. A part ces points qui mériteraient un […] entretien un peu plus rigoureux, hôtel très confortable, très bien équipé (frigo, 2 TV et 2 téléphones), chambres très agréables (1 salle de bain, 1 chambre, 1 salon), très propre.
