The H10 MontCada is a 9-story modern boutique hotel with a classic façade located in Barcelona's Old Town, less than 1,000 feet (250 meters) from the sea and one-third of a mile (500 meters) from Santa Maria del Mar Cathedral and the Picasso museum. Ciutadella Park, 0.6 miles (1 kilometer) away, is a peaceful green space that provides respite from the busy streets of the Catalan capital. Bicycles and rowing boats can be hired in the park, which also houses Barcelona Zoo and the Museum of Modern Art. Barcelona International Airport is a 20-minute drive away.
Hotel Features.
The 9th-floor terrace at H10 MontCada offers a sunbathing area and spa tub with views across Barcelona, including Montjuic Hill, Gaudí's famed Sagrada Familia cathedral, and the labyrinthine Gothic Quarter. Cardiovascular equipment and free weights are provided in the small fitness center, which also overlooks the city. Guests can relax in the sauna, or with a body scrub, facial, or massage in the spa, Despacio Beauty Center, which specializes in thalassotherapy and aromatherapy treatments. The lobby bar offers complimentary newspapers and a selection of drinks, and is characterized by ornate iron window bars, chrome-framed dark wood tables, sofas with large cushions, and modern art prints.
Guests visiting on business can make use of secretarial services, complimentary Internet access, and a meeting room equipped with audio-visual equipment that can accommodate meetings or banquets of up to 40 people. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can advise on local sights and attractions and exchange currency.

Hardwood floors, white walls, and large windows define H10 MontCada's 79 guestrooms, all of which are equipped with iHome® docking stations and satellite TVs with premium channels. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. Marble bathrooms include showers or shower/tub combinations; bidets; and complimentary toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Each room has a Nespresso® machine and a minibar. A kettle can be requested, and a complimentary bottle of water is included.

"close to all must-see sights"
This hotel is in a great location and is very well kept. There is free expresso in the hotel lobby and free champagne at check-in. The only issue is the poor design of the bathroom showers where there's no curtain or glass door. "Wonderful base for a stay in Barcelona"
My husband and I booked 2 nights at the H10 for a romantic week end. Landing from the States we took the AERO bus and walked about 10mn to the hotel. We got there too early to check in, but the staff took our luggage for us, and gave us maps and suggestions on what to do in the meantime. The JAUME I metro station was right across the street, and the […] metro system is very easy to use. We came back around 2:30pm and our room was ready. Very clean, roomy for Europe standards, and the bathroom was spacious too (full tub). Only gripe about it is the "half" shower door, unfortunately the norm in European hotels (water splatters all over the floor). It was nice to be able to open windows both in room and bathroom. The hotel was nice and quiet at night, although we could hear street noises, but not enough to be disturbed (we were on 5th floor though). Nice terrace on 9th floor rooftop, as well as an inviting Spa & Jacuzzi (for extra cost), with beautiful views of the city. The breakfast buffet was great, one fruit and cereal bar (including 4 or 5 fruit juices), another with cold cuts and cheeses, and a hot buffet with eggs and various sausages. Various croissants and cakes, and plenty of coffee, hot chocolate and tea. We got the Strawberries and Champagne room package which we took advantage of on our second night, and it was wonderful. The staff was absolutely fabulous, friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty. Thank you in particular to Katia who was so lovely to us. We loved our stay, and have a new favorite hotel chain! The hotel was ideally located in the old town, 5 min.walk form Katalunya and opposite the metro station. Very well kept, room had everything needed. The double room was pretty small. The location of this hotel turned out to be perfect - next to a metro station and right in the middle of the fantastic Gothic quarter, as well as a short walk to the harbour. Hotellet hade mycket trevlig personal som var hjälpsam. Fint med lite mousserande vin som välkomstsgåva. Rent hotellrum men väldigt hårda sängar som stod på hjul och således rörde sig även om man låste hjulen. Vi fick rum på tredje våningen och inte ut mot vägen vilket var bra då det är en mycket trafikerad gatan utanför entren. Jacuzzin på taket var […] öppen 10-13 och var mycket trevlig. "Flott beliggenhet"
Jeg og min kjære var der en langhelg i slutten av januar. Vi elsket at det var kort vei til alt, og at det lå i et fint område av byen hvor vi virkelig kunne føle på den spanske stemningen med de mange tapasbarene rundt. Det er t-bane rett utenfor hotellet, og selv om hotellet er rett ved en svært trafikkert gate var det helt stille på rommene. Pluss […] for badestamp på takterassen.
