Although it is not in the central, it is still well located. It is closed to public transportation and local shopping mall. We were able to take train then metro from airport(1 Euro!!!). Really nice hotel. Even 3rd floor works fine. Fitness room on the 12th floor was empty all the time, so you can do your workout alone. Good breakfast and for 12 euros works fine. Nice calm location with diagonal If you have a car you are 10 minutes from the downtown. Easy to find a parking place around the hotel especially when you are allowed to stay […] for free on the green parrking lanes (whole august). Glories is a shopping centre that is like 7 minutes of walking from the hotel. A lot of places to eat there as well (we recommend Gwok and italian restaurant next to it (Grinos or smth)). Good Location! with Shopping Centre and Metro just meters away. Tram system that takes you to the Olympic port. Loads of restaurants and bars near by. Only con is that the partition wall is not soundproofed so we could hear (clearly) the neighbours in the next room.

I used this hotel for a 2 night stay. I found the the room clean and tidy with fresh towels daily. The beds are comfortable and with the air conditioning, guarantees a good nights sleep. Check in was speedy with a smile. I had no problem with my stay and would recommend this hotel for anybody who is looking for a short stay in Barcelona.

Went to Barcelona in August 2011. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes from the nearest Metro and mall. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and there are many cafe's and restaurants along the way so I think it's a good location for the money. The hotel was spotless. Good hotel, we stayed here for 3 nights on a short trip to Barcelona. The staff was friendly and efficient, rooms were clean and comfortable. The WIFI was fast but on our iPhone/iPad we had to log in every time we used it, not a big problem. Only real downside was the noise from other rooms when a toilet was flushed or a shower was being used.

Et godt hotell i forhold til prisen. Kort vei(ca 10 min gange) til stranda via Rambla Poblenou som i seg selv er en koselig gate med mange butikker og spisesteder. Das Hotel hat den Namen gewechselt und heisst nun FOUR POINTS by Sheraton, was es uns bei der Ankunft nicht gerade leicht gemacht hat, da wir vorbeigelaufen sind. Ansonsten kann man das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen, unser Zimmer im fünften Stock war renoviert und schön ausgestattet. Vor Ort haben wir das Frühstück für ca. zehn Euro gebucht - ein guter […] Preis für ein wirklich gutes Frühstück. Die Metrostation "Glories" liegt ca. zehn Gehminuten entfernt und man hat von dort mit der roten Linie gute Anschlussmöglichkeiten an andere Metrolinien, die einen überall hinbringen. Für unseren Aufenthalt haben wir eine Zweitageskarte mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln für € 11,50 gekauft und voll ausgenutzt. Meget pænt hotel. Det var altid rent og pænt og vi fik friske håndklæder hver dag. Hotellet ligger 20-25 minutters gang fra stranden og med 10-15 minutter til nærmeste metrostation, hvor toget gik direkte ind til Ramblaen. Das Hotel Amrey Diagonal ist ein moderner Neubau aus dem Jahr 2001. Von außen wirkt das Hotel chiq mit seiner Glassfassade, die Zimmer sind einfach gehalten aber durchaus hübsch. Besonders die Zimmer in den oberen Etagen sind zu empfehlen, da man von hier eine schöne Aussicht auf die Sagrada Familia hat. Das Hotelpersonal war immer freundlich und konnte […] gut englisch sprechen. Ansonsten war der Service auch sehr gut. Zur Umgebung ist zu sagen, dass sich das Hotel etwas weit vom Zentrum befindet und es mit der Straßen - und U-Bahn ca 15 -20 min bis in die Innenstadt dauert. Ansonsten befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe mehrere kleinere Supermärkte, sowie ein Einkaufszentrum und in Richtung Strand auch viele kleine Restaurants. Insgesamt hat uns das Hotel sehr gut gefallen und wir hatten keinerlei Mängel zu beanstanden. Wer sowohl Stadt als auch Strand kombinieren möchte, ist in diesem Hotel genau richtig aufgehoben. Très bon hôtel que je recommande pour son rapport qualité/prix. L'hôtel est très bien situé: à 1 min à pied d'un arrêt de tramway et à 10 min à pied d'un arrêt de métro (station glories). Accés facile et rapide depuis l'hôtel au centre ville. les points touristiques: sagrada familia, parc guell, ramblas, plaça catalunya, etc...., sont faciles d'accès. […] proximité des moyens de transports. A 5 min à pied d'un centre commercial "le glories" ou vous pouvez manger et faire des achats. Le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel:très complet avec sucré et salé. Le personnel de l'hôtel toujours à disposition parle très bien le français. Nous avons été très bien conseillés sur les bus touristiques de la ville. Notre chambre, au 10ème étage, très propre avec grande baie vitrée donnant sur l'avenue Diagonal et vue de Barcelone. Le soir on entendait le tramway mais ce n'est franchement pas gênant. L'avenue est très calme le soir. Donc nous avons très bien dormi, pas du tout gênés par le bruit extérieur. hôtel situé dans un quartier très calme, quartier affaires, à 5 min de la tour Agbar. De l'aéroport il faut compter 30 min jusqu'à l'hôtel. Je conseille de prendre la navette qui fait les trajets aéroport jusqu'à plaça catalunya. puis prenez le métro jusqu'à la station glories. ça vaut vraiment le coup financièrement par rapport au prix d'un taxi.
