It distances itself from the stereotypical Spanish tapas bars with a fresh image
Offers tapas and side dishes true to the philosophy of ABaC; tradition and modernity in equal measure. Jordi Cruz defines them as “Uncomplicated creations, packed with flavour and impact. The idea is one of an orchestra where the excellent “patatas bravas” – always in their skins, or “calamares a la andaluza” play permanently and invite an exclusive ABaC guest star to play each week; such as the Cherry Ceviche or the Figs with Foie Gras. Generous portions, quality produce and inspired creativity are all offered on a plate at a good price.”

Stay was comfortable and good for the price. Major issue was that the safe in the room didn't work and each day we informed the front desk about the problem and despite reassurances it never got fixed. A bit expensive relative to other hotels with similar amenities, but great location - easy walk to Barceloneta beaches, el Born restaurants/bars, and not far at all from the Ramblas/Ciutat Vell either. "Fine place"
The hotel was nice and are placed great. Got wheelchair and had a room at 7th floor (722). It had bathtub, which are a misunderstanding by many, cause a chair are easier for many disabled, but the tub are nice. The room has 2 queen size bed which I prefer when not traveling with my husband. Wi-fi wasn't great there (didn't contact them about it) […] unless the weekend. Cleaning was not the best, but again we didn't contact them. No clean glass in the 12 days we had the room :O (neither bathroom or the drinking glass). The lifts are small - the right are smallest, but a regular wheelchair can be in it. Think the width of door are about 68cm and the room a little more). Outer doors are manual - open 2 doors at once to get in/out. The breakfast was fine, and they got a ramp down to the area. The fruit was whole and not cutted, which I prefer, so I didn't eat as much of it as usual, there wasn't many changes in fruit, meat, cheese ect when we lived there. "More than I'd like to spend."
I had a good stay and had a single room so it was tiny but safe. The staff is extremely helpful and speak all languages (english, french, spanish and german). The breakfast was also yummy! I booked at the last minute and spent more than I would have liked but it was worth it. The Hotel is in a brilliant central location, close to both the marina and the very quirky El Born, lots of great wee shops and places to eat all day. We paid a little extra for this hotel than others available, and although room was clean, it was not spotless. "Park Hotel Barcelona, Perfect location"
We stayed in the hotel for two nights and found it ideal for what we needed. It's less than 10 min walk to Las Ramblas and is also near the Marina. We where getting the train to Salou also so the hotels location to Estacio De Franca was perfect (only across the road). The hotel room was small but had very good air conditioning so it was very comfortable […] to sleep in. It's a perfect hotel for those who will be out most of the day and only require the room to rest their heads at night. Rummet stämde inte med den beskrivning som fanns på hotels.com. Det fanns tex inte någon bäddsoffa i standard rummet. Rummet var stort som en skolåda ungefär och det var väldigt lyhört. Bydelen er interessant med små butikker, trange smug og gater, fine torg med uteservering, og Picasso-museet. Fullt mulig å gå til det viktigste av ting å se for turister som stranda, La Rambla og Sagrada Familia. I parken nord-øst for hotellet (ved dyrehagen) er det en flott fontene. Det er et hyggelig torg 150 meter nord-vest for hotellet med diverse […] spisealternativer og en trivelig stemning. Vi spiste frokost flere ganger der hos Sandwich & Friends, noe som kan anbefales. Hotellet holder grei standard, men et minus er at håndklær ikke alltid ble byttet ut. Ikke spis i restauranten i 1. etasje i hotellbygget ("Ten") dersom du er i nærheten av sulten - porsjonene er mikroskopiske. Betjeningen er høflig. Stor TV på rommet med bra utvalg kanaler. "Läget är perfekt"
Fantastiskt läge, bara 10 min promenad till La Rambla eller 10 min promenad till stranden. Rena och fräscha rum. Ingen lyx, men bra standard. Enkelt att ta tåget från flygplatsen. sehr gute Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum lebhaften Hafen, zum Strand und in die Altstadt mit vielen guten Restaurants in der Nähe. "Excellent location"
The hotel is located in an area of the city excellent for shopping. Service was fine. The room was large (we also had an extra bed in our room) and had excellent, but quite noisy airconditioning. "Park Hotel Barcelona,"
Fint hotell, på andre siden av togstasjonen Estacio de Franca, relativt kort vei til stranden (15 min. å gå i flipflops). Plassert i Born-området med flotte shoppingmuligheter, barer og spisesteder. Hotellet har Wifi, men det virker ikke som de har tatt høyde for antall samtidige brukere, siden man ofte ikke får noe nettilkobling (ingen IP-adresse). […] I løpet av mine 6 dager der var jeg to dager uten nett. Irriterende. Hastigheten på nettet var forøvrig grei. Rommet var passe stille, kunne høre svært lite av trafikken utenfor. Det hadde bra bad og aircondition, og sengene var ikke for myke eller harde. Minibar og safe var også inkludert. Derimot kunne rommet ikke skilte med 32 tommers flatskjerm, men derimot en Sony tv fra nittitallet, type 22 tommer. De aller fleste kanalene på spansk, men man hadde BBC og én kanal som viste filmer på engelsk. Hotellet har en bar/"restaurant" tilknyttet, hvor vi forsøkte pizza en kveld. Ingen vinner akkurat. Det här hotellet är perfekt om man vill ha gångavstånd till allt. Hamnen, stranden, shopping, förbindelser, parker ,uteliv osv. Hotellet var också vädligt rent och städningen var helt felfri! I det stora hela är hotellet ok, ingen lyx men bra standard och läge! Är man van lyxhotell med stora rum och modernt så kanke det inte är något;) men om man vill ha ett bra hottell med bra läge till ett bra pris så är det mycket bra. Läget är som sagt grymt=)! Nära till shopping, uteställen, stranden, resturanger sevärdheter mm... Rummen är små men […] väldigt rena, man har det man behöver... Frukost sådär, jag skulle rekommendera att gå till något annat mysigt ställe för frukost.. Service är bra, det är dock bara en lite reception men de finns tillgängliga hela tiden. "Nice hotel with the best location"
Very personal small design hotel - design meaning here the architecture, not expensive design items in the rooms. Everything's clean and works ok. Rooms are very small, even the superior rooms. I strongly suggest booking one of the superior rooms with terraces. Terraces are towards the busy street, so using of earplugs is strongly recommended, if you […] wish to sleep late. Normally there's no noise, but there will be a random ambulance waking you up every morning otherwise. They're loud. Location is the most perfect. Nice old streets of Born are a step away with very nice restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as clothing stores. You're safe away from the worst tourist hassle, but still just 10-15 minutes walk away from Barri Gothica and Rambla (huh) if that's what you wish. It's very safe here too - no traffic of any kind nighttime (except weekends). Metro Barceloneta, as well as the Barceloneta beach are just a short walk away.
