Hotel Condes de Barcelona is a 6-story property housed in 2 former manor houses, Casa J Dauradella and Casa E Batllo. They were renovated in 1997 to enhance their original 'moderniste' architecture, including a fairytale-like stone staircase with intricate arches and columns. The modern reception is painted in white with contemporary sofas in neutral tones, corridors are panelled in fine sycamore and public areas have marble floors.
The hotel's restaurants, Loidi and Lasarte, serve Mediterranean dishes, specializing in seafood, with quality ingredients carefully chosen by chef Martin Berasategui. Café Condal is a piano bar with forest green armchairs, stools, scented candles, and panelled walls. A live pianist entertains every evening, and cocktails can be enjoyed on the roof terrace.
The hotel has a meeting room. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas, 24-hour fitness facilities are available free of charge while babysitting/child care, valet parking, and an airport shuttle are available for a fee.

The Eixample suburb was created 1860–1920 and consequently holds the city’s finest Modernist buildings. "Disappointed time for a new hotel location"
The Hotel is in a great location with great prices and i have stayed here over dozen times the past 4 years. Unless you are in the modern section across the St. the main rooms are a bit worn and need updating. The safe is not even large enough to fit 2 ipads. An internet connection fee for each device, PLEASE that is absurd, it is 2013 and we all have […] multiple devices. "Convenient location!"
The hotel is in a great location - near tons of shops and restaurants. We walked to the beach but some may find it too far a walk and prefer to take the metro (conveniently located right outside the hotel). We stayed in a "Condal" room which was fine but if I went again I'd upgrade to the executive rooms. Our room was older and parts had been redone […] but not all (bathroom was older). It was very clean though. We had a balcony facing passeig de gracia that we enjoyed. The pools are pretty small and we did not use them, but we did eat at the terrace restaurant and it was good, with good views. Staff was very helpful. I would stay here again. "Best roof top drinks and view"
The fabulous location and view of Casa Mila from the roof top bar made this hotel a joy to stay in. I would highly recommend the Conte de Barcelona . The only criticism I have is that on Friday evening after a long day of touring the city, we stopped at the roof top to relax ,enjoy a glass of wine,some tapas and the view,however were asked to move to […] a small table with uncomfortable bar stools in anticipation of the arrival of larger parties of people. Vi bodde her i fire netter i mai, og hadde et flott opphold. Hotellet var innbydende, hyggelig ansatte, store gode rom og generelt bra nivå på service og komfort. Eneste som var noe negativt var en kakkerlakk som dukket opp og litt sliten dusj(i badekar)... Bra belligenhet og lite støy. Fin takterrase, med et minimalt basseng. Este hotel está muito bem localizado numa área nobre de Barcelona, na Passeig de Gracia, cercado das principais lojas e muito próximo de "La Pedrera", "Casa Batlló" e duas estações de metrô. Sua única questão é que está dividido em dois prédios, o que nos obrigava a estar hospedados em um e ir tomar café no outro, mas nada tão problemático. O quarto […] é excelente, moderno, grande e limpo. O wi-fi grátis só funciona nas áreas comuns, para ter acesso no quarto é preciso pagar. O atendimento é muito bom, mas fomos num fim de semana e a recepção estava sempre muito disputada, sendo difícil esperar para pedir informações. O hotel tem mais de um restaurante e bar, inclusive um estrelado Michelin. Não fomos, mas gostaríamos de ter experimentado. Não esqueça de pedir o deconto no café da manhã toda vez que for tomá-lo: não entendi bem a sistemática, mas não adianta só dar o número do quarto, é preciso pedir o desconto. Bra läge ett stenkast från Plc Catalunya. Baren på terassen var en trevlig startpunkt och slutpunkt på kvällen. Frukost åt vi på stan. Fanns bra caféer bara en tvärgata bort med fri wifi. "Väldigt nöjda"
Bodde fyra nätter på Condes De Barcelona och var väldigt nöjda. Allt från välkomnandet då en portier hjälpte oss med väskorna till dess att vi checkade ut kändes väldigt bra. Rummet var rent och fräscht och det enda man kanske kan klaga på är att det hördes ett lågt muller från tunnelbanan. Detta var dock inget vi störde oss på, men är man väldigt känslig […] för ljud kanske det kan vara värt att ha i åtanke. Frukost (bröd, pålägg, yoghurt, bacon, äggröra, färsk frukt, sötsaker m.m.) serverades i byggnaden mittemot (30% discount som hotellgäst) och den var ok. Ungefär 10 minuters promenad för att komma till Plaza de Catalunya (som trafikeras av flygbussen som går var 5-10e minut) där det även finns en tunnelbanestation. Ungefär 5 minuters promenad norrut mot Diagonal finns ytterligare en tunnelbanestation. Finns även en fin terass på taket med pool, där man bland annat har utsikt mot Casa Milà/La Pedrera (en Gaudi-byggnad i närheten). "Great hotel, perfect location"
Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel has two buidlings across the street from eachother. We had room 750 on the top floor with a private terrace and an amazing city view. It was located right underneath the rooftop bar. As the bar is open until 2 am you could hear the noise when on the terrace, but inside the room was quiet. Wij kregen een gratis upgrade naar een 'executive room' op de 6e verdieping. Prachtige, grote kamer. Heerlijke douche, prima bed en alles zeer schoon. 's Avonds op het terras op het dak gegeten en gedronken. Heel betaalbaar en bijzonder lekker. De locatie van het hotel is zondermeer prima. De parkeergarage is zeer klein en het is een hele onderneming […] in een (klein) parkeervak te parkeren en zonder kleerscheuren de garage weer uit te komen. De locatie is prima, volop winkel- en eetgelegenheden. De liften in het hotel zijn klein en bijzonder traag, wij moesten soms wel tien minuten wachten voordat wij de lift in konden. 新市街にあり、地下鉄駅から近いので便利でした。 部屋は窓側ではなく、内側の部屋でしたのでカーテンを開けると、吹き抜けのロビーやエレベーターが見えてしまい、開ける事は出来ませんでした。 ネットは無料でしたが、電源を接続する余分なコンセントが無く、テーブルの電灯のプラグを外して、テーブルを手間ににずらして差込みました。あまりその辺の事を考えていない作りです。 近くには、ガウディのカサ・ミラやカサ・パトリョもあり観光するのには便利な位置です。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
