The hotel was perfectly located for what we wanted to see and do. It is clean and fairly comfortable but is a bit tired and outdated. The front desk staff was responsive but not particularly welcome or helpful.

This is one of the most terrible hotels I has ever stayed in. The first thing is the front desk staff is rude and incompetent. We also did not have heat in our room and after we complained about it to the front desk person He said he would call someone in to look at it and a course no one came to look at it. It was freezing in the room and Barecelona […] got down to 3c that night. If we wanted to sleep anyway we could not also because of the noise in the room next to us which was being renovated in the night. Who was the idot manager who thought it was alright to do noisy work putting down carpet and painting in the middle of the night with guest next door and of course the front desk staff is to incompetent to do anything about it. Thanks for the great stay at your terrible hotel. Please feel free to read my postings on other websites about your hotel. This hotel was in a great lacation. Close to Las Romblas but not right on it. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit. The staff was helpful with restaurant suggestions that turned out to be excelent. There was one throwback to an older era. No electronic keys! They gave you a real key that had to be left at the disk when you left and […] retreived upon return! The one inconvience was that wireless was only available in the lobby not in our room. Read more

Upon arrival, @8am, I was greeted by a very nice desk crew (male and female) and the doorman secured my bags in a locked room until my room was ready (@3pm). I went on a long walk of a fabulous area surrounding the hotel and then to the Sagrada Familia. A great walk!! Upon my return, went to my room (9th floor) which was rather warm with the sun baking […] on the window side of the room. As I opened the curtain, I found the a great view of the neighboring building's roof and air conditioners...and that's all I could see. I sat on my bed which felt like a bunch of springs with a little bit of padding. Glad I was only staying for a day. In the mean time, I called down to the front desk and spoke with a not so friendly female worker about getting internet. I learned that the only free internet was in the lobby. When I went down to the lobby, that same female was stunning miserable to people ahead of me and certainly not pleasant to me...despite my friendliness and smile. If there was anything that would make me not come back it would have been her. Overall...hmmmm....I would try the hotel again but certainly not in the room provided to me. We were very happy with our room and the hotel was both comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and we enjoyed the fact that the hotel was centrally situated. The only issue was with the inside location of my parents room which had overlooked a dark and dreary courtyard - a very depressing view. We would recommend specifying rooms with an outside […] view if staying there again. The breakfast was quite expensive but good quality. We did not use the rather limited and expensive dinner option but there are plenty of options for evening meals within short walking distance. Overall we were satisfied with our stay. Read more

総ての交通の中心にあり名所・ショッピングにも徒歩でＯＫです。ホテルマンも殆どの人が友好的で楽しい６泊連泊が叶いました。希望を伝えますと直対応して頂き快適でした。ただひとりだけ笑顔の無い女性ホテルスタッフが居て有名レストランの住所を尋ねても調べようともせず知らない！の一点張り。その後男性スタッフが即対応して下さいましたが不愉快な思いをしました。ただ主観的な違いがあるかもしれませんが朝食はあまりおいしくない・・・と思いました。３軒先にゴージャスな雰囲気でお値打ちなバルがあり其処で朝食は頂きました。バルセロネータが行き交い地元の文化に触れるといった感じで幸せでした。

街の中心部でどこに出掛けるにも大変便利な立地です。ﾊﾞｰﾙやﾚｽﾄﾗﾝも歩ける範囲に多々あり楽しく過ごせます。ﾌｧﾐﾘｰのためｺﾈｸﾃｨﾝｸﾞを利用しましたが使い勝手が良く、ﾎﾃﾙの方の対応も親切でした。

Toppenläge, nära till allt, shopping, sightseeing, flygbuss (T2), restauranger. Fin lobby men rummen är standard med heltäckningsmatta osv men välstädat. Hårda sängar. Vi hade ej frukost på hotellet utan åt den på kringliggande ställen.

Avenida Palacen ehdottomasti paras puoli on hyvä sijainti aivan Plaza Catalonian vieressä parhaalla ostosalueella. Hotellin palvelu oli hyvää vaikka aulapalvelua ajoittain ruuhkauttivatkin isot jenkkiseurueet. Aamupala on aivan hyvä jos se kuuluu huoneesi hintaan mutta erikseen ostettuna se on ylihintainen. Vieressä on lukuisia kahviloita, joissa aamiaista […] saa jopa alle puolet halvemmalla. Hotellin sisustuksessa alkaa huomaamaan jo ajan kulumisen edellisestä remontista mutta kaikki kuitenkin toimi. Meidän varatessamme Avenida Palace oli edullisimpia keskustan neljän tähden hotelleja ja voin suositella hotellia varauksetta, jos se on hinnaltaan kilpailukykyinen Barcelonan keskustan hotellien joukossa.
