One of the world’s oldest cities, its historic heart surrounded by water, Cádiz is remarkably overlooked by foreign visitors. Take a stroll along the promenade, with its gardens and squares, and around the old town, with its narrow Moorish alleyways. Don’t miss the Cathedral, Museo de Cádiz, and Oratorio de San Felipe Neri. Along the promenade are two fine beaches. Cadiz Carnival is Spain’s finest.
