When I booked this hotel, there was no notice that they would be under construction. I was rudely woken up by the sound of loud power drills and hammers right under me every morning. I tried to let it go, but by the second day the construction workers kept working until 10pm when I was ready to call it a night. I called the manager to notify them of […] the issue and how my whole stay at the hotel was a bad experience due to the loud noises. I was offered the option to move to another room, but that would have been another inconvenience because I was already in the bed trying to sleep. To make a long story short, do not stay at this hotel if you are used to staying at hotels that value the customer experience and will reimburse you bad experiences due to their part. A simple apology is all you will get and then you will awake to the same issue again the next morning... They do not care about retaining clients! Read more

This hotel was under remodeling . Pool and gym closed . I wish I knew that at the time of booking. In their defense, they had an agreement with hotel next door to make us feel welcome and use their facilities . The security in this hotel is an A plus.

Great hotel was the Meila hotel but now under a new name. Easy check in. Rooms clean - beds amazing. Ocean view from some rooms are not very good as you have to look to the left to see it other rooms has a nice view of the ocean. Casino was very busy and the night club was good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and the prices of the food in the restaurant were really reasonable. I expected much higher prices, but the food selection and quality were very good. I did not like that you had to pay for wifi service, but it was reasonable at $9 a day. I have stayed here 4 times during Christmas. I feel the custumer service to be excellent and the location extremely convinient. I feel the hotel to be a good choice for the value and the price. It's one of the major hotels in the Malecon and is close to Colonial Zone two other major hotels and a great number of restaurants.

The hotel is located across from the sea. You need to cross a main road to get to it. There is no beach, just rock, but we didn't expect there to be. We had a car and drove an hour to Juan Dolio beach, a great place to visit. Anyway, the hotel had a lot of security and we never felt threatened. The workout room was very nice, but the "trainer" staffing it was useless, just sat in his office. They never had mint, but other places around town all had mint. There was always an excuse about why they didn't have mint. The parking was safe, we never had any issues.
