"Bad hotel"
The only good things were food in the buffet n friendly personnel. Bad n expensive Internet , old rooms, old tv, no difference between standard n VIP rooms, but charge 30$ more per person. Bad beach chairs 60% broken, not enough pool chairs, do not stay there.Genuine Expedia guest review

""Terrible service- we will not be going back!""
We were so disappointed in the hotel! From the second we got tho the property we knew that we were going to have problems. My husband and I had booked a king room and when we arrived we had a room with two double beds. After arguing with the from desk they finally got us a king room. When we got there they told us to leave our bags and they would be […] delivered to our rooms. So, we go to our room and when we walk in it smells terrible! The moldy smell is overbearing and we had to instantly open a door because the smell was so bad. Also, our la p was completely broken, as was our mirror. We had one towel in the bathroom and no provided toiletries in the bathroom. So, I called the front desk to tell the, about our room and to ask for a different room because of the smell. They told me to go to dinner and they would have a new room for us when we were done. We went to dinner and when we returned 1 1/2 hours later, out luggage still hadn't arrived to our room and when I called the front desk and was told that there was no empty rooms and we would just have to deal with the smell. I was livid! After throwing another fit I was told that someone would be right up with new room keys and our luggage. 2 hours later our luggage shows up, but no new keys. After calling back 5 different times, I was told that I needed to relax and to not get so worked up about it by the front desk. Needless to say we will not be going back... "Generally a bad experience"
Although the potential is certainly there, my experience was certainly not a good one, they could not even tell me how to get to the hotel after talking to 6 or 7 different people on 6 or 7 different occasions, but this is not the problem.Took over an hour to check in and it was not a busy time, there is no internet service other than in lobby which […] is a 1/2 mile from where you stay. The main restaurant is great, the speciality ones very sub average. There are too many guests for the number of plates, cups and silverware so always short, not enough pool chairs, etc. They run on a volume situation attracting Dominicans at one of the best rates locally but you pay a price if you want service. "No Hot Water in a VIP Suite"
We booked 3 VIP Suites - I was travelling with two elderly ladies and we paid much more than the price of basic rooms. The main complaint was that two of our three rooms had no hot water. I constantly complained about this during our stay, to a number of different staff. Each one said they would get the problem fixed, and nobody did. I live in Dominican […] Republic and speak reasonably good Spanish, so I'm sure it wasn't a language problem. When you turned the faucet to the hot position, you had almost no pressure, and water which was very slightly warmer than freezing, but certainly not adequate to shower. I spoke to Guest Relations manager Carlos (who said he was also the hotel manager) on a number of occasions. He said that all he could do was to report the problem again. I asked him to contact his boss, and he said he had no idea where his boss was. The whole place seemed badly managed, and much more interested in packing guests in, than keeping them happy. A number of other guests were complaining about hot water, so I would be very wary if booking with this hotel. A lot of other things were wrong. We specifically asked for quiet rooms, and we were put right next to a pool where they had extremely loud music and activities all day. No chance of an afternoon nap. If you wanted peace and quiet, you had the option of very loud music beside Pool A, or loud music beside Pool B. Or you could listen to the loud music on the beach. It was impossible to get away from the noise. The VIP Suites were basically big rooms, with a little sitting area down a few steps - it's an exaggeration to call them a suite. Lighting was very bad, with only two bulbs to light a very large room so it all looked a bit gloomy. Food was OK, not special but lots of variety. A estrutura do resort é excelente, porém o serviço é péssimo. Os funcionários são extremamente pegajosos, brincadeiras de mau gosto com mulheres acompanhadas, quartos mofados. "Roubo no quarto do hotel"
Quanto a acomodações e serviços do hotel não podemos reclamar, pelo preço cobrado vale. Mas se você estiver com a reserva feita, CANCELE, ou se não for possível , não deixe nada de valor no quarto. Este hotel NÃO TEM SEGURANÇA dentro dos quartos. Tivemos TODO o nosso dinheiro subtraído porque esquecemos uma bolsa com nossa chave, carteira e a chave […] do cofre quando demos uma saída de uma hora para a piscina. O ladrão entrou, roubou todo o dinheiro (dólares e reais) de três locais diferentes, ou seja vasculhou tudo. Não se preocupe com cartões de credito e passaportes, esses nos foram poupados. Outro ponto desagradável do hotel: muita gente de fora do hotel importunando oferecendo serviços (passeios, feirinhas de artesanato, fotos) dentro das dependências . RESUMO: Não fique neste hotel, busque outra alternativa, um que ofereça cofre com fechadura eletrônica, o Caribe Club Princess além de não ter esse tipo de cofre, ainda cobra u$ 4,00 por dia de USO do cofre, e se vc esquecer a chave do cofre no quarto alguém via entrap e lever tudo que tiver por lá.
