The Tivoli Gardens amusement park, founded in 1843, makes this area the liveliest in the city. The park boasts one of the oldest wooden roller coasters still in operation, and the world's tallest carousel. The Pantomime Theatre dates back to 1874. Other attractions include the Hans Christian Anderson Castle, the Glass House, and the Concert Hall with its aquarium lounge. Outdoor concerts take place here in summer.

Kamer was netjes. Internet op de kamer met LAN-kabel werkte prima. Draadloos internet officieel alleen in de lobby, maar op de 2e verdieping had ik nog wel redelijk bereik. Ontbijt is redelijk. Rond 9 uur is de ontbijtzaal wel erg druk, vroeg ontbijten loont. Buurt is een beetje shabby, maar je zit na een paar honderd meter al in een nettere straat. […] Voelt verder niet onveilig of zo. It's right next to the railway station, so easy to be reached from e.g. the airport and one is also quickly within the center and Tivoli. Hotel itself is okay for its star rating.
