"Nice but noisy"
This hotel was clean, lovely, and well appointed. Since it was fall, they seem to have turned the AC off even though it was unseasonably warm. Therefore, the noise from the very busy street was almost unbearable but the windows had to be open to keep the room less than boiling. The smokers like to congregate right by the doors, so you have to run the […] gauntlet to get in and out as a non-smoker. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The room had a tub, great for soaking sore feet. It is close to the Westbahnof so it is very easy to catch a train. The business center had computers and printers to print off train schedules and other things. The staff all spoke excellent English and the beds were very comfortable. "Worth it"

We stayed here primarily because it was close tot he Westbanohf Train station. We enjoyed our stay. It was particularly hot and the air conditioning does not work well, but they gave us a fan to help out. "Overall good hotel with some issues"
We stayed here for 5 nights based on good reviews and getting a good rate. The room was very clean and we had a "city street" view overlooking Urban Loritz Platz. Some may not like the street noise, but we loved the view overlooking the activity of the frequent trams. The hotel was very comfortable overall. We booked the Executive room which was located […] on the 6th floor. (According to the hotel's website rooms on the 6th and 7th floor are Executive rooms.) Internet wi-fi access is free if you stay in an Executive room, but not in a standard room. We enjoyed our stay but we did have a few problems though. We looked forward to using the hot tub after walking around Vienna but the hot tub was broken our entire stay. The first time we tried to use the hot tub was our second day around 4:30 pm. It was cold. We called the front desk and were told it was turned on at 4:00 pm and it needed time to heat up. We returned after dinner at about 7:30 pm and it was still cold. We called the front desk again and the next day it was drained with an out of service sign. It remained broked for our entire stay. Another issue we had was that we didn't get our wake up call our 3rd night. We realized that the phone had stopped working, but that doesn't explain why someone wasn't sent to ensure we were up. When we reported the phone problem the next morning, we left to explore the city expecting it would be fixed when we got back. It wasn't, and we were given an excuse that engineering was off. This Hotel had a great location ! Very close to train and sub way station. Cheaper than inner city but could get there on the subway in just a few stops.we actually rented a bike with city bike rentals and cycled home late one night. There is 2 bike rental stations within 2 min walk of the hotel. Rooms are nice and large for Europe standards. Free wifi. Good stay. The internet is extremely slow unless you pay for 'high-speed'. It is available in the room. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Its location is not great. at check in they said they have upgraded us to one level up, went into the room and found the room looking like a regular hotel room, so we really wonder how a regular room look like... haha! The room was surprisingly large, and though the street out front is VERY busy, we could hardly hear anything of the outside noise. This hotel is very elegant in terms of the lobby and restaurant. Our standard room was a good size, plenty of room for two, with a bar fridge. Rooms were also very clean and kept clean. "Sweet spot"
Apart from slightly dank smell in the room (maybe because of the wall-to-wall carpet) we really enjoyed our stay in Arcotel Wimberger. The location was more than convenient, being stonethrow away from the main west railway station of Vienna where the airport bus takes you to and where you also find U3 subway line. Also Mariahilfer Straße, the main shopping […] street is close by and from there you can walk down to the museum quarter if you like. Hotel's breakfast was enjoyable every morning, but I'm sure you get bored to that eventually as happens in every hotel. Als Auswahlkriterium stand für uns die Nähe zum Westbahnhof im Vordergrund. Durch den relativ günstigen Preis für den gebotenen Komfort wurde der Aufenthalt noch versüßt, zumal der kostenlos nutzbare Wellness-Bereich für weitere Entspannung sorgte. Negativ ist leider aufgefallen, dass zum einen am ersten Abend das WLAN ausgefallen ist und am Folgeabend […] leider immer noch nicht wieder hergestellt war. Außerdem hat unsere Klimaanlage nicht ganz zufriedenstellend funktioniert, womit es abwechselnd entweder sehr warm oder frisch im Zimmer war. Fairerweise muss ich aber gestehen, dass wir auch nicht weiter an den Einstellungen gefeilt haben. Insgesamt hinterlässt das Hotel bei mir aber einen guten Eindruck. Sehr verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Nur 5 Gehminuten vom Westbahnhof entfernt. Frühstück reichhaltig. Auch 15 Minuten vor offiziellem Ende war noch alles vorhanden, was man nicht von jedem Hotel sagen kann... Das Personal war sehr freundlich, und auf Anfrage konnten wir unser Zimmer auch bis 14.00 Uhr benutzen. Einziger kleiner Nachteil, die Zimmertüren können […] nur recht laut geschlossen werden. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Hoflage, so daß wir vom Vekehr der Straße nichts hören konnten. Ob es nach vorne lauter ist, kann ich daher nicht sagen. Generell empfehlenswertes Hotel mit einem Mangel: Keine Zuweisung durch das Personal zu einem Frühstückstisch. Die Tische waren gut belegt und ich musste mich an einen Tisch setzten, welcher gerade frei wurde. Kein Personal räumte ab. Ich musste das Personal bitten den Tisch zu säubern was dann auch geschah. Ich musste wiederum das Personal bitten mir […] eine Tasse zu bringen. Auch bei meinen Tischnachbar passierte das Selbe. Alles passierte auf Zuruf. Für mich ist Frühstück äußerst wichtig und ich mag es nicht an einem ungesäuberten Tisch zu sitzen und um Besteck und Tasse zu bitten. Nicht in einem solchen Haus. Übrigens: das Personal war sehr freundlich und reagierte sofort auf meine Bitten! Das Frückstück war ausgezeichnet. Mit einer Platzzuweisung könnte dieser negative Beigeschmack beseitigt werden. Hotel confortevole e comodo alla metropolitana, ideale per chi vuole soggiornare durante gli eventi al palazzo dello sport, distante circa 500 mt.
