We stayed here for two nights as we were traveling to Austria. The hotel is about three blocks from the main train station (hauptbahnof) and an easy walk as long as you dont have a ton of luggage. The staff were very helpful and spoke great english. Hotel is older but clean and stylish. Rooms were also clean and bed was comfortable. The walls are a […] little thin so you can hear people in the hallway pretty easily. They do have a second door inside that you can close that helps with this though. A nice clean room. Bedroom area with computer desk was a good size with small balcony and an LCD with plenty of channels. Room had a kitchenette and could come in quite handy for an extended stay. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is small but they all can't be a grand palace. Had a nice strong WiFi connection in the room.

Except for the street noise (which I was warned of in reviews) I was very satisfied with this hotel. It was within walking distance of the train station and to many points of interest. Hotel was fine. Big room. I just need a safe place to put my things and a clean, comfortable place to sleep. They had 4 washers and 3 dryers for guests but had to fight for time. The hotel was in a great location. The neighborhood really was not that bad as was stated in one review. There is alittle kitchenette in every unit but there really are no pots and pans. If you want supplies they will provide them for 5 euros. But if all you need is a fridge and microwave its great and more than you will find in most european hotel […] rooms. This hotel has no a/c!! If you dont smoke, you get a room on a very busy street. You must open the windows to cool the room, therefor you let in all the sounds from the busy city street, it all equals NO sleep!!

Last year I booked the ArtHotel on the other side of the train station in Munich. This year, the Art was not economical so I chose the ViVadi. Breakfast was not included (nice if it was) but there are bakeries in the near vicinity. I liked that it was on the other side of the Central Train station, a bit closer to Munich Center and closer to the Schloss […] which was definitely worth the hour walk. The gardens are beautiful. The hotel is also close the several biergartens and about a 10 minute walk to the Center. If you like to walk, this hotel is perfect for the price. The room was very comfortable with a small kitchen which would be nice for a longer stay. Free internet was very convienent since I had to work. My only more negative commnet was that the lobby is more of an office. They did have a pleasant waiting room in which I very comfortably fell asleep in until my room was ready upon arrival. The staff was lovely, spoke English fluently and was helpful. I would definitely suggest the this hotel for a stay. Read more

Staff spoke great English but they were understaffed. If you hit it at checkout time, you'll wait a while. Lobby is rough but room is totally adequate for the price. It was unseasonably warm when I was there so was a little disappointed in the fact that there was no air conditioning but as it turns out, none of the hotels there have it.

This hotel is a 7 minute walk from the bahnhof with luggage to the reception desk. Our room was very nice. It was modern, clean and comfortable. We stayed here for one night in May. The hotel is about a 7-10 minute walk from the hbf. And about a 15 minute walk to the ceter of old Munich. The neighborhood is safe but is a commercial district with offices,banks and some retail. You can hear the traffic noise if your room faces the street and the windows are open.
