"Convenient as a stopover"
The hotel was very comfortable with a lovely terrace overlooking the Mosel river and superp food and wine. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent english. The road is quite busy during the day but was not a problem overnight even with the window open. There are rooms at the back which are quiet if you prefer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Bien situé et bon marché"

"Nicht zu empfehlen."
Am Hoteleingang hing ein Zettel mit der Aufschrift, dass wir die darufstehende Handynummer anrufen sollten.Am Telefon sagte man uns das der Schlüssel in einem Schrank liegt. Als wir dann aufs Zimmer kamen, staunten wir nich schlecht. Im Zimmer gab es keinen Fernseher, noch nicht einmal ein Radio. Das Mobiliar war Eiche Rustikal, was daruf schließen […] läßt das die Möbel bestimmt schon 20 Jahre hinter sich haben. Das wäre nicht so schlimm gewesen, wenn die Matrazen nicht die selbe Zeit durchgemacht hätten. Es waren keine Matrazenunterlagen vorhanden, was in einem Hotel zum Standard gehört. Die Bettlaken waren mit Haaren vom Vorgänger versehen. Das Oberbett hatte Flecken und konnte nicht mit dem noch vorhandenen Reissverschluss verschlossen werden. Im Badezimmer war der Staub auf den Lampen deutlich zu sehen. Den Duschkopf konnte man nicht festmachen und musste ihn ständig in der Hand halten.Der absolute Höhepunkt aber war das Frühstück. Es war schon eine Unverschämtheit uns Brötchen vom Vortag zu servieren. auch das Brot war total trocken. Wir waren immer noch die einzigen Gäste in diesem Hotel.Nach unserer Meinung war das Hotel bereits geschlossen, da diese Hotels an der Mosel nur Saisonbedingt bis Oktober geöffnet haben. Wir waren halt nur Lückenbüßer und man wollte sich wohl so nebenbei noch die eine oder andere Übernachtung mitnehmen. Ich bin beruflich sehr viel in Hotels und habe so etwas noch nicht erlebt.
