"Didn't need an alarm clock"
We found the hotel quite easily and had little trouble checking in. The girl at the desk was friendly, but her English was somewhat limited. The traveler's info was closed and the guy at the train station spoke no English at all. All I wanted was a little information about the boats on the Rhine. No luck. The boat was scheduled to leave Koblenz at 9 […] in the morning, so we had to wing it, especially since the girl said that the docks were a 30 minute walk. The room didn't have a clock in it, but I figured that I could wake up with plenty of time to get to the boat. Boy,was I right. We didn't know it, but our room was right above the main city bus stop. The first bus started up probably around 5, and they kept starting up until I finally got up around 6:30. If you stay at this hotel, don't get a room overlooking the empty plaza, it's filled with buses by the morning. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
