Well located, a few minutes from downtown, and the main railway station.Walking distance to shopping (Kaufhoff and Karstadt) and Konigsallee. Still a... superb business hotel, decor a little dated, however the rooms are very comfortable with many amenities. I arrived early morning from an international flight, as expected they advised me that my room was not ready, however they did have an upgrade available immediately at a small extra amount. It was worth paying the extra as I was tired and could rest, the room was larger, and I received complimentary internet. Reception staff were helpful and attentive. Located in Dusseldorf city centre next to the German-Japanese Centre, the Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf lies 500 metres from the train station, one kilometre from the old town and 1.5 kilometres from the River Rhine. Dusseldorf Airport (DUS) is nine kilometres from the hotel, around 15 minutes by car.

Hotel Features.
The hotel lobby is contemporary in design and a spiral staircase leads up to the first-floor atrium which floods the reception area with natural light. Located on the ninth and eleventh floors, the Nikko Spa offers massages, facials, and other beauty treatments (surcharges apply). Views of Dusseldorf can be enjoyed while swimming in the 14-metre pool located on the eleventh floor and guests can relax in the saunas and the steam bath on the ninth.

Authentic Japanese food is flame-grilled and served on traditional Japanese chinaware in the Benkay Restaurant, which also features a sushi bar and private tatami rooms. The Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf also has a breakfast restaurant and lobby bar.

The majestic River Rhine, 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, offers excellent walking and jogging opportunities as well as boat tours.

Divided into three separate sections: the Teppan-Yaki Grill Room, with tables set around fiery grills; the Fish Corner, with a sushi bar; and three Tatami Rooms, with low tables and floor seating. All sections have traditional Japanese interior design and authentic dishes are served on Japanese chinaware. Reservations are recommended for the Teppan-Yaki Grill.

Traveller's - On the first floor, Traveller's offers an international buffet breakfast and Japanese breakfast. Guests can dine at tables or in half-moon shaped booths.

The hotel was besieged by electrical problems across floors, which necessitated a change of room mid-stay. I guess these things are bound to happen sometimes, and the courteous staff went a long way in mitigating this problem, given the circumstances. All this hotel needs is a facelift. Spa is high end...but tired Some rooms are upgraded....but others are not. The ones that are not, are still nice, clean and fine....but needs upgrading. proximity to great and authentic Japanese restaurants!!!!! Cigar and Scotch selection is good, and a great place ti unwind.

THE destination hotel if you are from Japan! Many japanese restaurants and retailers in walking distance. Also in walking distance of the main train station (Duesseldorf Hbf) as well as the Oststrasse U-bahn station. Within my personal walking distance to Altstadt. So, excellent location. Room was OK...3 stars. A little warm at night, but the weather […] was unseasonably warm as well. Staff very friendly, no problem with English. Reserve well in advance; rack rates are eye-watering. loved the stay in the hotel, amazing food. I wish there was a jacuzzi in the Spa, and the 15 Euro entry fee was expensive due to the free facilities being limited. But overall would stay again.

中央駅から近く、日本人向けのレストランやスーパー、ベーカリー、美容院等が近くにあるのでとても便利だった。また、日本人スタッフも常駐しているので、リクエストなどがある際はスムーズに対応してもらうことができた。朝食はご飯とお味噌汁はあったが、その他の品はいわゆるヨーロッパスタイルの物で、内容もそこまで充実はしていなかったので、あれで23ユーロは少し高いと思う。トータルでは満足できるホテルなので、再度行く機会があればまた泊まると思う。

Stayed at Nikko with my family (two kids). Large and comfortable room. The first room we got was however not cleaned and we had to change to another room which was a little bit of a hassle. But, the room (executive room standard) we eventually got was very nice and good for a family of four. The kids loved the breakfast too.

とても親切でいいサービスでした。ただ、チェックインまでの間フィットネスのシャワーを使えると案内され、スーツケースを持って行った時に、スーツケースはフロントで預けてくるように言われたり、鍵付きのロッカーが使えなかったりと施設の使い方の案内が分かりにくく、少し不愉快な思いをしました。それ以外は、とてもよかったです。

This was the first time I stayed at this hotel in D-dorf. Overall a very nice hotel but the rooms will need refurbishing pretty soon, especially the bathroom. But the room was nice, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Parking in the hotel garage very convenient.

Staying at Nikko for th first time the main reason was the location close to Altstadt. The room was very nice and comfortable but overall the hotel has passed it's glory days and will soon need refurbishing. But, it was good and I might very well stay here again. The parking in the garage was very convenient.

日系のホテルなので、言葉の問題もなく安心ということで最初は利用しはじめました。何度か利用していますが、日本らしいスタッフの丁寧な対応、和食処、オープンバーの気安さ、部屋の快適さは、ビジネスにも家族向けにもとても安心で、使いやすいホテルだと思っています。中央駅まで歩いて５分ちょっとですし、近くには日本食の美味しいレストランもたくさんあって、重宝しています。今回は初めてホテルのルームサービスを頼んでみましたが、ステーキも赤ワインも、とても美味しかったです。びっくりしました。

以前の滞在時と比較すると施設のメンテナンスは良くなっていた。水回りも清潔で部屋の中での電源コンセントの位置も数も適当。 JSTV(日本語放送)も無料で見られる。朝食(23ユーロ)の内容は、質としては良いものの種類が少なくなっていた。交通の便が良い立地なので観光でもビジネスでも使いやすい。

Let op: hotel heeft geen eigen parkeerplaats. Ligt boven een parkeergarage maar kosten zijn voor klant. Zwembad mag alleen gebruikt worden als je kamer een bepaald bedrag heeft gekost. Ligt in een Japanse wijk waar ontzettend lekker Japans gegeten kan worden.

Wir waren zwei Nächte im Nikko in Düsseldorf. Das Hotel liegt zentral und die Altstadt ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Was mich jedoch gestört hat ist das für ein 5 Sterne Hotel kleine Zimmer. Das Bad ist gleichzeitig für 2 Personen nicht nutzbar - dafür ist es zu klein. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Empfehlenswert ist dieses Hotel für Geschäftsreisende […] oder für Paare die mal einen Städtetrip nach Düsseldorf unternehmen. Für Familien mit Kindern würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Frühstück haben wir im Hotel keines eingenommen, dafür gibt es außerhalb genügend Angebot. Wer mit seinem Laptop ins Internet möchte sollte sich einen Mobilfunkstick zulegen da der Hoteleigene Internetzugang sehr teuer ist. Read more

We stayed in the executive wing, got vouchers for free wifi and use of the spa. The room was a bit small, but we only went there to sleep anyway. Our room was at the front end of the hotel, and you could hear the tram passing by. It's a 15min walk downtown. Overall, good hotel.
