Situated next to Hamburg's Planten un Blomen park and gardens, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Hamburg, is a towering, 27-floor landmark. The property is set 500 meters from the Alster Lake, and one kilometer from the Town Hall and the Kunsthalle Art Gallery.
Hotel Features.
The marble lobby has four reception desks, a candelabra which hangs through a spiral staircase and a separate lounge area where travellers lounge in leather armchairs reading complimentary newspapers. A health club comprises a 14-metre pool, sauna and solarium. Massage treatments are available, and there is a juice bar and outdoor south-facing terrace which opens in the summer. A conference room offers more than 2400 square feet of space for business meetings and self-parking is provided at a surcharge.
Trader Vic's Restaurant and Mai Tai Bar, a South Seas-themed restaurant, showcases handmade Tiki figures, original Indian canoes and artwork. This renowned restaurant serves French-Polynesian specialties such as fresh lobster, crispy duck, beef flambe and homemade coconut rum ice cream. Felini Restaurant serves contemporary Italian cuisine in a stylish setting, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

All 560 rooms are carpeted and include desks. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided and there is satellite television. Other amenities include minibars and air conditioning. Bathrooms feature tiled floors, makeup/shaving mirrors and hair dryers. Connecting rooms are also available for family travelers.

Set on the inner Alster Lake, Hamburg's centre is 1 km from the harbour and the developing warehouse district, HafenCity. Shopping is centred on Mönckebergstrasse and Neuer Wall. Towers dominate, including the huge city hall and the churches of St Peter, St Jacob, St Nikolai and St Michael. Art exhibitions can be found at the Kunsthalle, the Bucerius Forum and the Deichtorhallen.

The stay at the Radisson Blu hotel in Hamburg was excellent. the staff were all very friendly and helpful and all spoke very good english. The location of the hotel was great, with a main station about 3-5 minutes walk, and the city centre about 10 minutes walk. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great choice of cooked and continental food which […] should satisfy most people if not all. The hotel has recently been refurbished, so the decor is modern, the only fault was lack of drawer space (none) which ment you had to use the wardrobe or your suitacse, saying that we will certainly use the hotel again. "Nice living"
Nice hotel, fancy altogether. Breakfast was 22 Euro, didn't even look at it but know that it is not worth it. They have a small gym and such but didnt try it. Close to the subway so not bad situation. The area around maybe not so nice to wonder alone in the night. Park af blumen lies next to the hotel and was nice. Der Aufenhalt hat uns gut gefallen. Die einzige Kritik ist, dass unser Kollegenpaar nicht das selbe schöne Zimmer hatte (dies mit dem Glasfenster zum Badezimmer). Das war sehr schade, da wir auf der Homepage die Fotos der Zimmer gesehen hatte und und schon darauf gefreut hatten. "Good price and good location"

Fint hotel. Känns väldigt modernt och nyrenoverad. Fina rum, med allt vad som behövs. Väldigt fin morgonbuffet, bör väljas varje gång. Allt i allt en mycket positiv upplevelse. "Dårlig oplevelse"
Overfyldt hotel, som tilsyneladende hverken er bemandet eller har de nødvendige faciliteter til at håndtere antallet af gæster. Tolle Lage des Hotels. Perfekt für Besucher des CCH, da direkt daneben. Bahnhof "Dammtor" befindet sich ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe, auch zur Messe sind es nur 10 Minuten durch den Park. DIe Ausstattung, Sauberkeit konnten voll überzeugen. Besonders der Saunabereich (SPA) war in sehr gutem Zustand. Das Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Das Bett groß, aber […] für meinen Rücken zu weich. Das Bad groß und sehr sauber, mit allen was man brauch. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Allein schon wegen der tollen Aussicht aus den oberen Stockwerken (26. sind es). Lækkert og flot hotel. Hotellet ligger i en park inde midt i Hamborg by, med gå afstand til shopping område og de forskellige kulturelle tilbud. Morgenmaden var fremragende, og udlåning af paraplyer i recepetionen gjorede opholdet perfekt. Parkeringskælderen under hotellet er aflåst og meget fair i pris. Vi nød 3 overnatninger på hotellet hvor vi boede på 27. etage med flot udsigt over byen, eneste minus var at der var noget støj fra elevatoren, der lå lige ved siden af.
