If all you want is a really nice hotel with amazing access to FRA Airport for a layover, the Sheraton's great. It's got really nice meeting facilities, and overexpensive but interesting restaurants and bars-- definitely don't buy the breakfast, but instead go to one of the many kiosks around the airport and buy fresh (and way more affordable) breakfast […] items at pretty much any time of day. It's got free web usage, which is also nice. But the connections to the city are absolutely perfect. If you are catching a morning flight, but still want to go out the night before, just jump on the train for a painless ride into the city; the system runs past 1am, so you'll be able to stay out a while without worrying about taking a costly taxi ride. The rooms are comfortable and relatively modern, although the bathrooms could definitely use updating. I personally had a problem with my TV, which was unable to be resolved during my stay; however, I was only there for a night, and only wanted to watch it for an hour or so, so it wasn't worth working with the hotel to get it fixed... I just told them to make sure it was fixed for the next guest. It would be really nice if they gave complimentary bottled water or something--considering their five-star status, that's the least they could do, no? Read more

A Dramatic inconvenience.Normally I would imagine the hotel would be quite pleasant but I arrived behind the cancellation of some Algerian flights and the Queue was without any exag eration over 250 people long stretchng thoughout the long entry way. The Hotel Bar was closed however there was a alternative. Great hotel since you walk to your gate. Be aware that their are more smoking rooms than you might expect, and some that smell like they have been smoked in. Also convenient for train travel since the train drops off at the aiport.

While the hotel was nice, everything was a mis-communication. I was told they had no military rates and when I got there they did but since I pre-paid with hotels.com they couldn't give me the rate. Then they told me breakfast was included, but when i went to breakfast they said not. Desk staff pleasant to a fault, but completely uncooperative. Couldn't even take cash for the incidental charges. Hotel is highly overpriced, and the Internet charges are outrageous. The only reason to stay there is convenience to Frankfurt airport. They clearly know this, they charge what the market will bear.

This airport is perfectly located if you have a morning flight out of FRA. Not sure the upcharge is worth the difference in cab fare from next priced hotel though... Disappointing that for the price you pay you don't get the internet included. Nice hotel but not so sure it's a good value.....

Hotel is conveniently located but feels old and needs a revamp. Rooms only OK and extremely expensive food and internet. Room service staff had poor English, so had to speak to three people to place an order off the menu! Not acceptable for an 'international' hotel at an airport.

The Sheraton at Frankfurt is a great convenience when arriving by train and moving on by air or vice versa.. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is stark- a shock after the cultural whirlwind of traveling through Germany and Czech Republic for 2 weeks. However getting up in the morning, packing up and rolling our bags down the hallway […] and into the airport far made up for any qualms about missing the ambience of the countries we had just visited. Try to get a breakfast package if you can- we didn't and grabbed breakfast in the airport itself as prices were ridiculous- you can grab the train back into Frankfurt ( about 15 min) for shopping or dinner- We didn't, we ate our dinner in the Sheraton- good meal- and then to bed. Hotel is very well located and the rooms are clean and modern.Concierge is very helpful. Check in however was long and cumbersome due to the fact that it was done by trainees. In room dining works well but it is a pity that afterwards staff are knoking the door to enquire if still some dining items are in the room.

A great location, 5 min walk to the Lufthansa check-in area in Terminal 1. Hotel appears a bit dated, but the lobby has been updated. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Restaurant a bit pricey, with breakfast at 32 Euros. Free access to Internet on hotel computers in lobby. Great staff.

Room was not ready and I had prepaid for it and it was 5:30pm. They told me room would be ready in 30 minutes and gave me a comp drink at the bar. Told me they would bring me the key at the bar in 30 mins. almost an hour later i had to pick up the key at the front desk. they completely forgot about me. Room was way too hot.

The best part of the hotel is its location within the Frankfurt airport complex. People are in general very nice, and helpful. The high room rate, however, does not match the value. First the charge for internet, but the worse was that it did not work. I ended up using the business center for a short time only, because the in-room internet didn't work […] until almost mid-night for a few hours. For business travelers who choose to be at the hotel so they could work on the internet full time (because they have no time to go downtown using the hotels at lower prices), this is a major inconvenience. The employees were apologetic but the management has no excuse. And this seems to be a problem that has lingered on for some time. Finally, the towels are thin and somewhat worn; there is no bathrobe. People are nice, though. Since the hotel obviously intends to cater to business travelers who don't care about downtown Frankfurt, the management should take it as a priority to fix the internet problem, and improve on the quality of towels, bathrobe, and clients' comfort. Hotel is convenient to airport as it is located in terminal one. Bus to terminal two is close also. I was disappointed to find my room not ready, recieved a key, went to room and it was a mess, bed not made, bathtub filled with towels, garbage everywhere. They did arrange another room 25 minutes later, too slow in my oppinion and far away from the elevator […] as you can get. Went to that room and hallways were filled with liquor and water bottles and plates. Poor room and hallway maintenance. Second time I stayed a week later, things were better, room was at least clean and ready, but room service is for those with big expense accounts. 체크인 해서 방키를 받고 엘리베이터까지 엄청난 거리를 지나 방에 도착하니 키가 작동 하지 않아 같은층 엘리베이터까지 가서 전화했으나 20분이 넘어 올라와서 확인 해 보니 방호수를 잘못 적어 준것이라는 황당한 답변. 방에 TV에서는 대시상태에서 계속 잡음이 나와 전원 빼버리고 화장실은 아주 저렴한 타일로 마감 되고 커튼에서 냄새가 나고 화장실 용품은 모두 싸구려로 최소 용품만 구비 되어 있음. 공항과 바로 연결된 위치빼고는 매우 불만족이며 힐튼이 더 나은 선택이라고 생각됨.

Insgesamt OK, aber das Ambiente ist so ziemlich das Schlimmste was ich je unterwegs kennen gelernt habe. Absolut null Atmosphäre, eine Platzverschwendung im Lobbybereich, die ihresgleichen sucht. So viel Fußboden habe ich noch in keiner Hotellobby gesehen. Wer hat sich das ausgedacht ? 공항의 위치가 완벽합니다. 오랜 비행 후 공항 건물 내에서 바로 이동하여 쉴 수 있다는 장점과 다음날 Transfer할 때 곧바로 공항과 연결되는 위치상의 장점이 큽니다. 쉐라톤 계열이라 시설도 청결하고 서비스도 좋습니다. 공항 기차역과 지하철역도 연결되어 있어 시내 이동이나 ICE로 독일 타 도시로의 이동성도 뛰어나고... 하루 잠깐 휴식만 하기엔 다소 가격 부담이 있지만, 가격 만큰의 시설과 편의성을 가지고 있습니다.

I have never before experienced as bad service as i did here 1 1/2 houre line to check in . 15 min line to check out. I even asked when checking in if i could express check out. "Im sorry sir, we dont offer that service". and i payed wya to many euro's for staying a night here. Never ever im i staying here again
