The wonderful breakfast buffet and the free public tranportion vouchers were some of the reasons we chose InterCity Hotel. We had just a short one night layover on our way home, and we were very pleased with the location, across the street from the train station, and the services they provided.

Very clean room but extremely small for me and my companion. We were constantly bumping into each other. Right across the street from train station, very convenient. Hotel offered free buffet breakfast which was excellent. Large breakfast room, very clean and with a tremendous variety of food.

The location is excellent near the train station . Room was Ok but very small bathroom and the heating wasn't efficient inside the room . Bed cover was very small and short for a tall man. Breakfast was excellent . Staff is very helpful .

In keeping with the euro style, the rooms were small, and the pillow was non-existent, and the mattress was firm. Overall the staff was helpful, and the room was clean. Convenient to the rail station, and the complimentary pass is nice to have.

The hotel is very conveniently located across from the Frabkfurt train station. However, my wife had her purse stolen in the breakfast room one floor down from the lobby as we were eating breakfast. While we know that there is danger of thieves in the train station, we would expect the hotel premises to be safe. Another very disappointing fact is that the Frankfurt police did not even show up despite the fact that the hotel called several times. This hotel is in an ideal location just across the street from the main train station (HBF). They gave us free transportation cards for use on trams, buses and local trains. The breakfast buffet was really good and had a great variety of foods.

Perfect location if you are traveling by train to Frankfurt. The hotel is literally across the street from Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Like most European cities, the area immediately surrounding the train station is a mix of business buildings and seedy establishments. Nothing offended except I booked a non-smoking room online, then was told upon my arrival that non-smoking rooms were not available. Only after I pressed hard did I get a non-smoking room. hotel was in a very good location directly accross from the main train station and just down the street from the fairgrounds. room was small but clean. staff was nice & helpful. breakfast was good but the exact same everyday. dinner was good but in typical hotel fashion was over priced. room temp in the frezing cold weather was far too hot and it didn't […] seem to matter if I tried to change it as I feel it did not work. internet was a problem and each day seemed to be out of service for a while. key card everyday I had to get it reactivated as it would stop working. 1 day it happened 3 times. The bed was NOT up to American standards as it was a 4" piece of foam 12"off the ground with a terrible pillow & only a blanket/comforter combo thing that actually did not even cover the entire bed. NOT a good night's sleep for a 45 year old 260 lb American. For location it is great but for a week or longer stay unless they improve the bed and room temp I would have to stay somewhere else, for 1 or 2 nights it would be acceptable. Read more

We booked some time in advance and secured a reasonable price for an 'executive' room.I felt, with the free public transport permit, free mini bar, breakfast included, robe and Slippers!! it was fair value, especially considering the location very close to the Rail Station! I always stay here when in Frankfurt. It is exceptionally good for a 3star hotel. Quiet, friendly, convenient to everything, and the public transport card most helpful. I and my friend stayed at Intercity Hotel, Frankfurt from July 7. 2012 till July 10,2012 and had booked the hotel through Expedia. We had booked two Executive rooms where the bar was free. Ms Pradhan at the reception told my friend that it was free for him but not for me as I had booked a standard room. I showed her the expedia receipt and told her […] that mine was an executive room and then she said that it was free for me too. Ms Pradhan was very rude and so were her colleagues specially the manager Mr Simon. When we appraised him of the inconveniences that we were facing like non-cleaning of the room despite our reminder to Ms Pradhan;non replenishment of tea / bar in the rooml; No clean towels. It appears that they deliberately did that to save money The staff at the reception kept on lying. No one would pick the phone at night. Mr Simon the manager even said that when we come to Frankfurt the next time we could choose another hotel. We had an early flight and therefore requested the reception that since we would not be able to have break fast (12 Euros included in rent) can we something light to eat, girl at the reception said we could. But then her shift changed and the person who replaced her said we could not. So we left in the morning at 3.30 Am without eating anything and using my own towel after bath. All in all the staff was very very rude, and lied and lied. It was a very disgusting experience. We were insulted, humiliated and cheated of our money. Read more
