Tiergarten, an expanse of greenery located in the city centre, is Berlin's largest park and features the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Victory Column, Bellevue Palace, Soviet Memorial and the zoo. Extensive renovation of the government quarter along the Spree, including Potsdamer Platz and the main train station, has spread to land that was formerly the border zone. The park is popular with runners year round and outdoor food vendors in summer.

With regards to the location, the Hotel is very well connected to many of Berlin’s main attractions whilst situated next to the city’s largest park, the Tiergarten, and in close proximity to the Berlin Zoo. The Bus 200, which stops outside the Hotel, takes you within minutes to places like the KaDeWe, Kurfürstendamm, Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz and Alexander Platz. "Praktisk beliggende ikke langt fra flyplassen"
Vi skulle bla. besøke Sachenhausen og ta en av BerlinTours og hadde gangavstand til møtestedene for disse turene, et klart pluss. I tillegg var avstanden til flyplassen kort, og det var et uventet bonus å kunne besøke de de imponerende nordiske ambassadene som ligger like ved hotellet. "Fantastiskt hotell"
Allt var bra. Vi hyrde cyklar för 12 € om dagen, servicen var kanon och alla var väldigt tillmötesgående. Sängarna var hårda men vi fick extratäcken och det hjälpte. Läget kunde inte ha varit bättre. Nära till Tiergarten (Berlins Central Park) och alla affärerna.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fancy, superelegant, extremt flotte værelser,"
Min datter og jeg var enige om, at trods det, at vi har rejst en hel del, såvel i Europa,som Overseas, så fremstod Hotel Pestana Berlin Tiergarten som temmelig unikt. Forstået på den måde, at det lige fra ankomsten og til synet af vores værelse, gav en fornemmelse, at det her "det er bare klasse". - Sikke dog et værelse tillige med badeværelse!!! Har […] sjældent oplevet noget så gennemført gedigent. Fremfor alt var vi nok enige om, at der noget japansk over i hvert fald vort været samt badeværelse, nemlig derved, at det hele fremstod utroligt rent,, enkelt, og umådeligt smagfuldt - PPS: Da vi først havde orienteret os om, at Wittenberger Platz U-Bahn blot ligger de ca. 10 min. gang ad Budapester Strasse, så var tingene på plads!! - God,god oplevelse, og super dejlig morgenmadsbuffet!!! -- Altså simpelthen intet at klager over. Dejlig nyt hotel, dog i nogen afstand af "byens puls". Personalets serviceniveau levede ikke op til 4 stjernet standard. De var passive og uengageret i gæsternes ophold. Dagen før vores ophold blev wellnesområdet lukket pga et mindre uheld, og personalet orienterede ikke om dette, vi måtte selv konstatere lukningen. Da vi spurgte til det, blev det […] ignoreret. "Pestana Berlin Tiergarten"
Espléndido hotel. Nuevo y se nota para bien en el diseño general y el de las habitaciones. Las habitaciones son grandes y modernas pero también acogedoras. El personal amabilísimo ante cualquier pregunta te ayuda (en inglés o alemán) y se preocupa para que no tengas ningún problema. El servicio de Internet bueno (hasta tienen impresora en recepción […] por si necesitas imprimirte algún documento) y gratis: a ver si aprenden otros hoteles. Cuenta también con piscina cubierta, sauna y gimnasio con el único inconveniente de que el espacio de la piscina no es muy grande por lo que puede haber más gente de la que desearías. El desayuno es tipo buffet en un agradable comedor acristalado con terraza exterior; la calidad es buena pero quizás podría haber algo más de variedad especialmente en frutas y la parte dulce. Situado en pleno barrio de las embajadas (la de España está muy cerca del hotel) se puede visitar muy agradablemente a pie Tiergarten. También con el autobús 200 que tiene parada al lado del hotel (la mayoría de los autobuses tienen un segundo piso panorámico muy recomendable) se recorre rápidamente todo el centro desde la Alexanderplatz hasta el Zoo. "Pestana Tiergarten, Berlin - new hotel"
Nice, new hotel. It is 1-2 km away from the old Berlin, if it is too far to walk, the bus200 is right across the street and takes you there. The hotel is on the other hand 5-10 min walking distance from Zoo and Kürfurstendamm. Quiet hotel with a small pool and nice breakfast. "Nära till berlin Zoo, Akvarium och K-damm"
Otroligt fräscht hotell med trevlig personal och god frukost! Vårat rum så exakt ut som på bilderna. Hotellet ligger nära Berlin Zoo och K-damm. Till övriga delar tar man smidigt buss 200 som stannar utanför hotellet. Skulle definitivt rekommendera detta hotellGenuine Hotels.com guest review
