Formerly the centre of East Berlin, Mitte is split down the middle by Unter den Linden and contains nearly all of Berlin's key churches, museums, theatres and memorials. The Fernsehturm (TV tower) by Alexanderplatz offers the best view over Berlin. Museums include the Pergamon, National Gallery, Bode and the Old Museum. The Red City Hall and the Dom (cathedral) are close to the museums.

For a business trip it did the job. There were plenty of things I wished were different. The room, while cute, had everything of very cheap quality, and the headboard ran ALONGSIDE the bed instead of at the head of the bed. I've never seen that before. There's no bonuses to the bathroom, only complimentary soap from dispensers. If you have neck issues […] ask for extra pillows; for some reason, in German hotels the pillows are thin, thin, THIN down pillows that barely support a whisper. The day staff at the front desk were very nice, the overnight staff so-so. My biggest dislikes were that there was no room service apart from housekeeping, no in-room fridge, the room keys are keys and not electronic cards, the housekeeping staff were VERY loud in the mornings talking to each other in the halls, so they were sometimes my alarm clock instead of my actual alarm, and the only English-speaking channel on the TV is BBC News. So basically, if you're just looking for a place to sleep at night and have a good breakfast in the morning, this'll be fine. If you have to spend long stretches of time in the room, plan accordingly. "All Seasons Berlin Alexanderplatz"
Evidently a modern refurbishment under the All Seasons flag of an existing establishment, the hotel is conveniently situated near the Alexanderplatz transportation hub and within walking distance of direct buses to Tegel airport. The management has clearly done its best to brighten up the hotel with splashes of cheerful colour in public spaces, but […] perhaps has been less ambitious with the bedrooms. Although the room itself was rather large and spacious, the bathroom (shower-only) seemed on the compact side. There was an initial impression of mustiness in the corridor and room, but once inside this was alleviated by simply opening the window. General standard of cleanliness seemed high. Front desk staff were unerringly helpful and cordial, but housekeeping personnel seemed mildly put out when, for work reasons, the room remained occupied beyond midday. There is a decent range of breakfast options, presented buffet-style in the dining area adjacent to the Reception desk. As is usual for the All Seasons chain, wifi and breakfast are included in the room rate so there are no hidden costs. Overall, a very reasonable balance between price and accommodation. Das Hotel ist super gelegen, direkt am Alexanderplatz. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Die Zimmergröße war angemessen, das Zimmer sauber. Allerdings befand sich direkt über dem Bett ein (getrockneter?) Wasserfleck. Direkt neben dem Hotel befand sich eine Baustelle, so dass wegen des Lärms die Fenster geschlossen gehalten werden mussten. Das Frühstücksbüffet […] war ausreichend. Sentral beliggenhet rett ved Alexanderplatz. Gode senger, rent og pent. Frokosten hadde alt man kunne ønske seg. Noen rom vender ut mot en gate med trikklinjer, så man må regne med litt trikkesus i bakgrunnen med mindre man ber om rom som vender inn mot bakgården.
