Great location close to Deutsche Oper Berlin and served by bus less than 100m walk from the front door, less than 30 minutes to the Hauptbahnhof by bus and S-bahn. Zunächst das Positive: Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung und trotz zentraler Lage des Hotels ruhig: Negativ: ich hatte im Vorfeld telefonisch gefragt, ob a) Hunde erlaubt und b) Parkplätze vorhanden sind. Nachdem man Beides bejahte, buchte ich vorab einen kleinen Hund für €15.-- pro Nacht!! und einen Parkplatz für €8.--. Als meine Frau und ich eincheckten […] wollten, war die Reaktion der Dame am Empfang: Wie, Sie haben einen Hund? Den hätten Sie vorher anmelden müssen. Mit Hund kann ich Ihnen das gebuchte Zimmer nicht geben. Von einer Vorabbuchung von Hund und Parkplatz wisse Sie nichts. Wenn man Ausschlafen möchte, muss man das "nicht stören"-Schild raushängen sonst steht die Reinigungskraft plötzlich im Zimmer. Als wir vom späten Frühstück (11-13 Uhr) um die Ecke zurück kamen, war das Zimmer nicht gemacht, obwohl das Personal beim Verlassen des Zimmers neben an war und wir das Schild entfernt haben.
