This hotel appears to be a bit older and needing renovation. By no means was it dirty, however--everything is clean and well maintained. The location... is very convenient to train station, but not good if you like to walk to things. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit ugly, and a good 30 minute walk to nearest tourist sites. Hotel provides tickets for free unlimited use of public transportation, which is great because Berlin is so large that even walkers like me need to use the trains a lot. Location of hotel is great, with a important train station pretty much at the doorstep. Hotel staff was very courteous and accommodating and communicated well in English. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed.

The room was very clean. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful, polite, and very quick. The rooms are very quiet and clean. The Ostbahnhof station is connected to the hotel making it amazingly convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location allowing you to use the train station next door to take short trips into berlin city centre. Room was clean and regularly cleaned each day. Didn't ate at the hotel, but bar staff were friendly and provide buckets of ice for the room. Room was hot ata times but to was warm outside. Sehr gut, aber die Betten sind für 2 Personen eher eine Notlösung. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen aber die Betten gehen leider nicht, ein Doppelbett sollte immer über 2 Matratzen verfügen. Ansonsten gibt es am Preisleistungsverhältnis nichts auszusetzen.

Bra läge, schysst standard, bra att man fick ett kort så att man kunde åka med lokaltrafiken under vistelsen. Läget var bra på så sätt att hotellet låg i samma byggnad som s-bahn stationen ostbahnhof. Rent lägesmässigt ur en mysighets- och nattlivs- synpunkt kanske inte detta var optimalt. På det hela taget iallafall ett mkt bra hotell.

Hotellet ligger Ostbahnhof, når du går ut av lobbyen er du på stasjonen, med tilhørende spisesteder og butikker. Stasjonen framstår som et trygt sted, med stadig tilstedeværelse av uniformert politi. Fra Schönefeld, går det hyppige tog direkte til Ostbahnhof. Hotellet ligger 100 meter unna den gjenværende biten av Berlinmuren. Stasjonens drosjeholdeplass […] er like utenfor hotellets løbby, og her er det alltid tilgjengelige biler. Ellers er ikke hotellets umiddelbare nabolag det helt store. Alle severdigheter er lett tilgjengelig med S-bahn fra Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz er to stopp unna mot vest. Hotellkjeden eies av DB, og alle gjester får frikort til byens kollektivtrafikk under hele oppholdet, hvilket er helt genialt, så man slipper å tenke på å kjøpe billetter og kan reise rundt som man lyster. Rommet jeg fikk var moderne og strøkent, og renholdet var veldig bra. Badet var veldig praktisk, og framsto som nytt, rent og pent. Read more

Praktisk å bo her med tanke på tog/t-bane forbindelser til hele Berlin. Gangavstand til Alexander-plass. Kan gå tørrskodd fra flyplass og til hotellet. Ligger inne på Oestbahnhof. Hyggelig betjening. Litt vel raske på morgenen for å rengjøre, ca kl.0900. Men bevare meg vel et fint hotel til en rimelig penge.

Rent, pænt og i god stand. Fin morgenmadsmenu. Ligger dør om dør med Ostbahnhof, som giver mulighed for let transport rundt i byen. Hotellet giver gratis adgangskort til den offentlige trafik i de dage, man bor på hotellet.
