Compared with some of the trendier central Berlin hotels the Berlin Plaza is a little dowdy, but then the price is very reasonable given the location. Within the hotel is a German-style bar restaurant - handy, if not inspiring (and you can charge drinks and meals to your hotel bill). Staff were helpful and welcoming. Our group of four business travellers […] booked four single rooms which seemed to vary in size and facilities. My single was a definitely a single with little spare space, but it was well equipped. This privately owned hotel in the heart of the City-West area close to the Kudamm is a real pleasure. Having shopped around for a while this is now my hotel of choice when working in Berlin. From the outside it is a little dated and inside the rooms could do with a spruce up, although they are spotless. For location this hotel cannot be faulted; just off the main shopping street (Kurfurstendamm) and within a few minutes of the U-Bahn system and hop-on hop-off tourist buses; nice bar, good food in the restaurant. Not a startlingly varied breakfast, but enough to get you going in the morning. 조용함, 난방, 위치, 아침 식사 등에 대해서는 그런대로 만족. 그러나 '고속인터넷'이라는 광고와 달리 접속이 안되거나 느려서 사용할 수 없는 경우가 많았음. 또한 방청소는 해주는데, 침대 시트나 침구를 갈아주지 않아서 4일간 그대로 사용해야 했음(다른 호텔들처럼 교체를 원한다고 따로 의사표시를 할 수 있는 카드도 비치되어 있지 않았음). 출장 일정이 급박한 상황에서 예약가능한 호텔이 없어서 선택했지만, 다시 간다면 선택하지 않을 듯.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Ich glaube man ist in der heutigen Zeit etwas verwöhnt was Hotels betrifft. Man sagt ja immer das im Ausland 4 Sterne so sind wie in Deutschland 3 Sterne. Das ist gar nicht so....wir waren etwas enttäuscht als wir das Zimmer betraten und erstmal lüften mussten weil es sehr streng roch. Wir suchten na ch der Quelle und fanden sie dann auch schnell in […] der Minibar....da lag verfoultes Obst drin. Bettwäsche war nicht sauber...sondern mit Schokoladenflecken. Was uns viel mehr geärgert hat....man steht früh auf und freut sich auf das Frühstück....kommt in den Frühstücksraum und muss erstmal 20 Minuten warten weil kein Platz frei ist. Frühstücksraum ist viel zu klein für dieses Hotel und das Personal ist völlig überfordert mit der Menschenmenge. Sehr komfortables Hotel am Kurfürstendamm. Sehr freundliches Personal am Empfang. Einzelzimmer sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der arg kleine Fernseher. Dafür dann kostenfreies WLAN auf dem Zimmer, auch ein kleiner Arbeitsbereich ist vorhanden, der für arbeiten am Laptop ausreicht. Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. […] Gut fand ich, das Thermoskannen mit Kaffee auf dem Tisch standen und man nicht für jede Tasse Kaffee aufstehen und zum Buffett laufen musste. Ein gutes sauberes Mittelklasse Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt. Als Alleinreisender habe ich ein Doppeözimmer belegt. Das Zimmer und das Bad ist für eine Person ausreichend groß.
