This hotel is exactly where it describes--in the center of Berlin, right in Mitte, in the heart of the city, next to all attractions like Tiergarten, the Zoo, several u-bahn and s-bahn stations, Victory column, Brandenburg Gate, etc, all in walking distance. The hotel is large and quite beautiful. The receptionists are very helpful and provided good […] advice for eating. They even offered to hold our bags after check out so we could go out. We ended up with a double room on the fifth floor. The elevator is tiny and only goes up to the 4th floor(a warning for those with tons of luggage or disabilities). The room was large and very accommodating, featuring a small living room and a bedroom. Our view was nice and the bathroom was clean and performed its duty well. The cleaning service are excellent, except once I left my underwear drying over the shower curtain and when I got back, it seemed that someone had unfolded it and hung it over a rack. Not sure how I feel about it...whether perverse or highly dedicated staff, haha. Overall, amazing hotel! Stumbled upon this hotel by accident in passing one day. Needed a hotel to stay while my husband was hospitalized unexpectedly during our vacation. Booked through Expedia for 3 nights; ended up staying for 6 nights. Room is large by European standards; beautiful bathroom; mini fridge; desk; HD TV; our room had balcony; free Wi-Fi; breakfast NOT included. The hotel is located in a major shopping zone, close to a Christmas market. Our room was comfortable and clean. Some of the floors are creaky but it just adds to the ambiance. This was a very nice hotel, room was very large with sitting area. The hotel is on a main street with lots of shopping and eating within walking distance. Tickets for hop on hop off buses are just around the corner for pick up. Parking was a garage around the corner, not real easy but $10-13 a day, closed and locked so very safe. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, kregen een lekkere rustige kamer achter in het hotel. Mooie gerenoveerde kamer. Badkamer een beetje klein maar goed te doen. Heerlijke douche.
