The luxury Kempinski Hotel Bristol Berlin is in the bustling Kurfurstendamm shopping district of Berlin, Germany, 500 metres from Tiergarten park and Uhlandstrasse underground station. The hotel is within 3 kilometres of the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag parliament building. Berlin-Tegel Airport (TXL) is 20 minutes' drive away.

Decorated with bouquets of flowers, the Kempinski Hotel Bristol Berlin's lobby features a green marble floor, dark wood panelling and slender columns.
The Reinhard's im Kempinski offers regional cuisine in a conservatory with Art Deco-style lighting and wicker furniture. Tea specialties are served by the fire in wood-panelled Goeblin Halle. At the Kempinski Grill, guests can sample dishes like veal strudel with caramelised chicory as they watch chefs at work in the open kitchen. The Bristol Bar has live music, chandeliers and a redwood bar.

"Kempinski Hotel in Berlin - a wonderful experience"
Nothing but good to say about this hotel and their staff. We arrived at 9:00 a.m. from a long flight. We were hoping to be able to store our luggage until the afternoon check in. "location not optimal for sightseeing"
This hotel is not really close to the main sites, but it is within walking distance of the U/S-bahn stop and public transportation. The hotel was comfortable and the staff helpful, but it felt as if the hotel had seen better days. There was a faint smell of sewage in the bathroom (I should note that there appears to be widespread sewer work in this […] area of Berlin, so this may be a general problem.) The rate we paid for the hotel itself was very reasonable, but the price for breakfast was high (25 Euro/person); since we are not big breakfast eaters, we went out for coffee and rolls instead, but found this much less convenient. "Exceptional Hotel and location"
Probably the best location and hotel we could have wanted for our first time to Berlin. The Metro is only a block away and two blocks from the S train station main Zoo stop. The Kempinski was a very nice albeit a very old hotel. It was very clean and our room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. There was a charge for the wifi. The hotel is right next to the 109 bus stop from Tegel so getting there from the airport is easy and not expensive. The hotel is also right next to the Uhlandstrasse Ubahn stop […] so hopping on the subway and getting around town is convenient. However, I would caution that the hotel is located a good distance from the major tourist areas such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and Museum Island so riding the Ubahn is a must. "Great position"
I was a little dissapointed in the quality of this hotel. The wall paper is peeling of the walls and the bedspreads need updating. The bed was not very comfortable, very hard. I would not consider this a 5 star hotel any more. I booked two single beds but was given a double joined together and told this is all they had unless I paid another $40 Euro […] a night to upgrade. We chose not too. If they did not have two singles I should not have been able to book it. The position of the hotel is fantastic, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and great shopping on Ku Damm Strasse! You can also get the hop on hop off bus on Ku Damm very close and the underground train station is also very close. The drapes were not good and did not block out the light at night. The room was clean and we did get a bottle of mineral water and some fruit as a welcome which was a nice touch.
