"ok, but a bit aged"
While traveling arround we saw many hotels in Costa Rica. Comparing to others the Flamingo Beach Hotel was ok. A huge stair infront of the hotel and a great lobby were impressiv. Getting the inforamation that there is an elevator to the casino at the second floor but not to the seperated hotel rooms at the same floor was disillusionating. Our room was […] big enough but we haven'T also seen a massive wooden door to the balcony before, what makes the room a bit dark. But anyway, you'll not spending to much time during daylight times within your room. The pool and garden was in good condition. Some of the staff was really friendly - some of them were running arround in an apparently bad mood. Bummer! The breakfast buffet was ok. As we've been there not at the main season it was nice and calm - good to relax. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"For young partiers"
This hotel is great for young partiers. Not so great for families. Food is pretty good and drinks are good but not really strong. Terrible towels, but nice room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice hotel - bad location"
The hotel is fine, no real complaints but the location is a problem. There is no town, just a strip mall with little in it and taxis are very expensive. We had to pay 10 dollars to go one mile to a small grocery store. It is 50 dollars to go round trip to Tamarindo. We did find out that the restaurants in the funky town of Brasilito will come and pick […] you up for free. Great food at every place we ate in Brasilito and good prices. One has to rent a car or be happy just staying at the hotel if your stay here. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Just OK"
1. Nothing around hotel 2. On a 5 star rating with hotel food being a 3 and Sandals being a 5, Flamigo's was a 2. 3. Don't expect anything in a hurry. 4. Unless you drink a lot the all inclusive is not worth the extra $Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very bland"
nothing out of the ordinary, if you want to experience Costa Rica, get a local hotel - you could not tell if this was Costa Rica, Mexico or Idaho.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It's Ok"
The hotel rooms are old, and are in desperate need of updating. But they are clean, and a good size. The beach is great, and the pool is great. Food isnt that good. Not a great selection and sometimes just not that good. But all in all ok. This hotel is good for a stay of maybe 2 or 3 days max.Genuine Expedia guest review
