This is a very nice small boutique hotel that's a renovated plantation house. The hotel has been upgraded and while the room are small they are well appointed and maintained. This was a completely unexpected pleasure to end a week long stay in the jungle near uvita. The restaurant was as good as anything in New York or New Orleans, and our entire group was extremely happy. Beautiful room, clever idea for a hotel, great service, and still laid back- pura vida!!!

Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms and lovely restaurant. Perfect place to stay in San Jose to get away from the outside city. Highly satisfied. My only suggestion would be to replace pillows with ones of better quality. Thank you for making my vacation a pleasant experience.

This place is beautiful and the staff was amazing. We had room 1 and it was quaint and sweet and lovely and clean and comfortable and refreshing. The restaurant was gorgeous and the service and food was devine. We brought our own bottle and there was not corkage becuase we were staying at the hotel. Buy wine at duty free, check in to your great room […] and enjoy a nice meal with your wine. I wish this hotel was closer so I could just go occasionally to enjoy it. Read more

Nice stay - the hotel was quiet & not too many guests, as we were just inside the rainy season I guess. We had a courtyard view which was really serene & there was a beautiful choir singing in a bldg. adjacent that we could not see but hear. It wasn't loud but so beautiful it made us want to go find them and listen.
