I could not believe how inflexible they were regarding my unique situation. Do To travel problems, I was unable to be at the hotel for the first night Of my booking which I was happy to. Pay for. I had my daughter with me unexpectedly and she needed to stay for the third dayl of my reservation, which I would not be there for and .they could not allow […] her to stay under my reservation. "the worst hotel and costumer service in the world"
the staff of the front desk were horrible, Bad attitudes and not friendly at all. The room was not clean and television never worked i made couple calls to front desk nobody never show up. i made three changes of the room because i wasnt comfortable but they were all the same and i let it go and finally end up with the worst room which the toylet didnt […] even work at all neither the tv, i tought they were doing on porpuse. The food was ok but the worst part and i notice is that everyone that works for that hotel is never happy and friendly there is no customer service and i can say that because i work for hotels for the past ten years in colombia and now usa i have friends that manage hotels in colombia and they are great. I tried the sol caribe because it was the only hotel available for those days and pay lot of money like a 5 diamond hotel but the only thing i was expecting is great servise and good staff thats the heart of the hotel. In general ruined my vacation thanks to the hotel because i spend more time trying to change my room that enjoying my vacation. i have lots of friends and people that i know trought the world and hotelwise but this is the worst hotel i ever stayed and i think is the management fault because they are the ones that should be aware of that. "No Value"
The ceiling in my room was sagging and cracked. The staff at the front desk was of no help. There was no transportation (shuttle) to and from the airport for people who went through expedia for their travel packages. The exterior of the hotel was under perpetual repair. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The mini bar was an expensive unexplained […] trap. If you used anything from the mini bar you were charged for it this includes bottle water. "Charge for 2nd adult already paid for double room"
My girlfriend arrived a couple days late on our vacation. Hotel charging her a surcharge for a room I already paid for a double rate. "Un hotel abandonado"
El mantenimiento del hotel es muy pobre, estéticamente abandonado y con una velocidad de respuesta sobrepasada para la cantidad de gente que alberga. El servicio de comidas y bebidas (all inclusive) fue de baja calidad y pésima variedad. Cada vez que fuimos a comer algo al snack bar "se habían quedado sin comida" (la cual reponían tras varios minutos […] ocasionando colas en la distribución). Conocimos el restaurante italiano y otro mejicano (que en verdad es uno sólo, apenas cambian una bandera según el uso) y la comida servida en ellos era un bufé con prácticamente los mismos platos en ambos casos. El restaurante general (sin reserva previa) ofreció los mismos (escazos) platos cada día (almuerzo y cena) durante nuestros 3 días con alguna variante menor. Para graficar: en la piscina se podía jugar con una pelota de volley que entregaban en el hotel (una sóla pelota tenían) que estaba absolutamente destruida, con todos los gajos salidos como si hubiera sido propiedad de un rottweiler los últimos 2 años. Si no invirtieron en una pelota, imaginen las habitaciones. Quiero destacar el buen trato que nos dispensó Carmelo, muy atento y buen tipo. "Hotel Sol Caribe Centro - Isla de San Andres"
Hotel antigo, pessoal da recepção mal humorado e sem estrutura para receber muitas pessoas. Internet WIFI so funciona no saguao do 2o andar e mesmo assim voce tem que ficar procurando aonde o sinal pega. Fila para poder comer no restaurante no almoco. Por duas vezes encontrei baratas no banheiro; nem sempre tinha agua quente para o banho. Faltavam toalhas. […] Toalha de rosto nunca foi colocada no nosso quarto. Chuveiro vazava constantemente. Toda vez que abria a cortina da janela tinha que fazer com cuidado para que ela nao caisse na minha mao, como ocorreu algumas vezes. Lencois estreitos e pequenos.
