Staff were not friendly or accommodating. They lost our bag for two hours when we arrived and we had to call them 5 times to find out what was happening. Turned out it was in someone else's room, there was no apology. The rooms were dated and untidy for such an expensive hotel. At check out they tried to charge us for our complimentary breakfast and […] would not believe us we even after we showed them a receipt. This hotel was very disappointing, especially the staff. "Dreadful Service"
The hotel was undergoing renovations so there was dreadful noise in the lobby and very little area for people to stand during check in. The checkin process was also dreadful with long waits and cues everytime you wanted to ask a question of staff. Bags were not brought up to the room as requested so there was yet more wasted time when I had to go back […] to the lobby to find where they had been left. "poor security from a 5 star hotel"
When I came back to the hotel after dinner a group of people had taken over the concierge desk downstairs and proceeded to scream abuse as I entered the hotel. I do not expect this from a 5 star hotel where security should be the number 1 priority.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Absolut enttäuschend"
Wir hatten das Hotel für unsere ersten beiden Nächte und unsere letzten drei Nächte unserer Australienreise gebucht. Die ersten zwei Nächte waren toll! Zimmer, Service - sehr gut. Für die letzten drei Nächte hatten wir ebenfalls ein Zimmer zur Swiss Atvantage Rate gebucht. Für das Zimmer, welches wir bekommen haben, ein absolut ungerechtfertigter Aufschlag. […] Das Zimmer war klein und schlecht geschnitten. Der Föhn im Bad war abgerissen, um das Ersatzgerät nutzen zu können, musste mann auf die Knie auf alle viere, um an die Steckdose unter dem Waschtisch zu kommen. Housekeeping gab es in unserem Fall nur auf Anfrage. Sehr, sehr schade. Fünf Sternen wurde das Haus in diesem Fall nicht gerecht!
