We had an awesome time and the stay was deeply relaxing. We were welcomed with a chain of flowers around the neck by the receptionist and got driven to... our hotel room by a hotel buggy. The room is spacious and we were able to see the sea. Overall, the environment had an asian comteporary style with a lot of exotic plants and lovely flowers. We loved the hotel pools. When we went there in June it was low season in Sanya so that many facilities were quite empty such as sun chairs, pools, restaurants etc. The breakfast had rich variety and was every delicious. The service was very good - everyone was dedicated to help us and serve whenever we had an inquiry. During the day, the hotel offered some activities such as yoga or beach volleyball. The yoga teacher was very professional. Also, the gym had excellent facilities. The location of the hotel is Dadonghai. To reach the bar and restaurent street we had to take a cab (5-10 yuan). I would highly recommend a stay in the Sanya Mandarin Oriental. by a Hotels.com guest on 06/17/11
