the Hutong was a great place, the atmosphere was great, roof top patio was really nice and the staff was also great. I chose this place on a business... trip for one night, I knew it would not be a 4 start hotel and did not expect the usual hotel experience, it is more a nice hostel. Room was large and cheap and clean. The area is what was best for me and is why I booked here. I prefer a little culture and the area has plenty and still reasonably close to other 'main' sites. Again the roof top patio has a great vibe for travelers. The girl working the bar and free english lessons made my experience a good one. Really nice and cozy hotell with comfortable room for a very good price. REALLY good service! The staff were very kind and helpfull and helped me with so many things in order to make my stay in China easier. I only booked a room for five days but stayed ten more extra days. I really recomend this hotell!
