An historical district, Dongcheng is home to a concentration of major sights and treasures including Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City (Palace Museum). To the south, discover Wangfujing Street, a famous shopping boulevard that sees mostly foot traffic only. Here, more than 200 old Beijing brands still reign supreme including the Wuyutai Tea House and Shengxifu hat store.

Typically, there is no way to get a reservation at the oldest continuous Peking Duck Restaurant in the world, Quan Ju De. Some how, the hotel has a special deal with the restaurant and was able to get us a same day reservation. This fact alone makes it a must stay hotel in Beijing!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Prime Hotel in Beijing"
It was everything that hotels.com claimed. Location was excellent for walking or short taxi ride to our places of interest. A reminder to fellow travelers: Especially in Beijing, have hotel names, restaurants, or other destinations in Chinese. At the airport we had difficulty getting a taxi because we were not aware of this. We only had the hotels.com […] confirmation with us. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A good hotel to s tay"
Prime Hotel is a good hotel to stay in Beijing. The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel location is also nearby shopping places and restaurants. I definitely will stay in the same hotel if I ever come to Beijing again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Prime Hotel Beijing Wangfujing"
Room was ok and location of the hotel also fine. Next to it is subway, supermarket and McDonalds. Some tobacco smoke in the room otherwise no complaints. Lavatorie was marble with bath. Room service worked and bellboys very co-operatives. Booked journey to Great Wall from the reception and went well. Prices at the hotel are bit expensive compeared to […] near by shops and restaurants. Good thing is that it is near Mao rock club that you hear awsome live Chinese rock bands. If you like to enjoys night life I recomend that you book hotel near from Rita park instead. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
