The staff is new and must be trained to meet five star standards, however, they are extremely pleasant and very willing to learn. The physical location... is the best on the island. The food was superb but not much of a selection which will improve with time. The tours they arranged were with absolutely outstanding guides. Any negative comments I may have are due to the fact the hotel is reopening and will have some growing pains. Overall it was an excellent experience. Conveniently connected to the airport in Hanga Roa, Hangaroa Eco Village & Spa is close to Pea Beach, Mercado Artesanal Municipal, and Ahu Vai Uri. Also nearby are Ahu Kote Riku and Ahu Tahai.

Hotel Features.
Hangaroa Eco Village & Spa has a spa tub, a sauna, and a seasonal outdoor pool. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. This Hanga Roa hotel features 2 restaurants. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning. Additional amenities include a terrace, tour/ticket assistance, and a snack bar/deli. Guests have complimentary access to a roundtrip airport shuttle at scheduled times. Self parking is complimentary. This is a smoke-free property.
