The hotel is 10 minutes away from "downtown". The neighbourhood is not great, but as said the tram and bus connections are optimal. The room was... particularly quiet and clean. The hotel itself is basic and not on the luxury side, but I will definitely go back there. This was a nice hotel with small rooms located in a somewhat remote part of Zurich. The taxi cost to the center of town averaged $30 which must be factrored into the price. The hotel is decent but the woman manager is quite rude and unpleasant - and, by the way, I'm not very picky. For example, she would not let me check in until 6 hours after I arrived even though they had empty rooms (she said rules are rules...even though it was already late afternoon) Additionally, when I stayed the weather was nice (but not even hot) […] but the room I had was an inferno from the incoming sunlight. With no air conditioning it was like sleeping in an oven until it cooled off around 4 AM. It is difficult to find a bad Swiss hotel. I would avoid at all costs. Read more

This is an excellent quiet hotel conveniently located in the center. You can go everywhere from there. The rooms are not large but comfortable, cozy and clean. I personally recommend it for both tourist and business purposes.

If you want a place where the action is, or more luxury, and can afford it, you might choose to stay somewhere else. But this hotel gives good value for the money. I was visiting private equity funds on a short visit. It was 8 stops from Central Train Station by tram 3, convenient, so it was OK. Staff was helpful. It is a basic hotel, but clean one. You should not expect much, and everything is expensive in Switzerland, but compared to other deals within the city, good deal

I found the the hotel excellent, I had been before a couple of years ago and they have completely renovated the rooms. Helpful staff. It's not in the city centre but there are several transport links to the centre, and it's Zurich, you never wait more than a few mins for a bus or tram!

Really nice stay at Mercure, really quiet at night, really clean and comfortable. Could not sleep however, simply because I had a job interview the next day and the bedt was very cosy believe me! I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Zurich.

The hotel can be reached with tram (2 or 3), it takes about 15 minutes from main railway station (the tram 3). It seems they offer some discount very often, then the ratio price/comfort is good.

部屋は狭いし、メインライトが無いせいで全体的に暗いですし、設備もこれと言って優れているわけでもないけど、ただ単に泊まりたいだけなら良いと思います。スイス内にしては料金も安いですし、スタッフの英語も訛ってないですし、不快に感じることはほとんどないです。ただ、スイス旅行をする上で、良いホテルに泊まりたいなら、お勧めはできません。

Na een lange reis kwamen we aan bij dit hotel. Voor het hotel konden we met veel moeite parkeren ( 19 Euro per nacht). Het was gelegen aan een drukke straat met op de hoek een tram/busstation. Weder die Zimmerausstattung (Minibar wird nur auf Wunsch gefüllt) noch das Frühstücksbüffet (nur Mindeststandard). Für ein Einzelszimmer hatte mein Zimmer eine passable Größe, Fernsehen konnte man jedoch nur vom Bett oder von einem unbequemen Schreibtischstuhl […] aus. Das Hotel an sich ist in Ordnung, wobei die vier Sterne ein wenig überbewertet erscheinen. Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung für eine Nacht. Die Lage ist eher ausserhalb von der Innenstadt in einer sozial schwachen Gegend, was ein spontanes Ausgehen am Abend ohne Taxi definitv erschwert.

renoviertes Hotel, sehr freundliches und hlifbereites Personal. Die Zimmer gegen die Badenerstrasse sind recht lärmig (Tram). Einzelzimmer eher klein, Badezimmer recht geräumig. Günstige Wochenende - Preise. Preis / Leistung absolut ein Hit. Lage etwas ausserhalb der Stadt. Mit dem Tram ist man aber in 10 Minuten am Bahnhof.

Alles in bester Ordnung. Das einzige Mühsame war das Problem, dass für zwei Autos nur noch 1 Aussen-Parkplatz zur Verfügung stand und die Parkgarage sich nicht gleich nebenan befindet. Nach einer 3-stündigen Fahrt inkl. Abendverkehr ist diese wirklich zeitraubend.
